At the forefront of cancer control, Professor Karen Canfell and her team play a pivotal role in supporting policy, practice and decision-making for innovative cancer solutions. Their groundbreaking work has led to the transformation of Australia's National Cervical Screening Program, which transitioned to HPV testing in 2017, positioning Australia as the first country expected to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health issue. Professor Canfell's team also lead the Elimination Partnership in the Indo-Pacific for Cervical Cancer (EPICC) program. This is the largest ever initiative of its kind, working across more than 8 countries in the Indo-Pacific, leveraging Australian, international and in-country partner expertise to accelerate the World Health Organization's strategy for the elimination of cervical cancer. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Program Coordinator to play a central role in supporting the EPICC program. The incumbent will provide operational project management and administration support and advice to ensure the efficient implementation of project plans, activities, and tasks across multiple workstreams, and provide secretariat services to ensure effective coordination of the EPICC consortium. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT.  The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an innovation research project where you will be part of the research team to conduct applied research in the topic of Human-in-the-Loop AI perception system that leverages user concerns and identified driving scenarios to generate new and relevant driving scenes for enhancing the perception system performance for autonomous vehicles (AV). Key Responsibilities Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. The experience in diffusion models is a plus. Have a PhD degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines. Knowledge of autonomous vehicles or cyber security will be advantageous. Have strong research record, preferably on top-tier computer science/engineering conferences.
