As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will: Lead unit teaching teams to design, deliver and continuously refine high‑quality, inclusive curricula, learning resources and assessments. Embed industry, clinical and research insights into teaching to strengthen relevance, engagement and student success. Drive innovation in curriculum and pedagogy, delivering learner‑centric, research‑informed teaching across multiple levels and modes.  Build capability and educational excellence by mentoring colleagues, contributing to pedagogical research, and integrating new teaching scholarship. We are now looking for a Lecturer or Teaching Fellow in Construction Work Based Learning and Apprenticeships. This is a specialist teaching-focused post, primarily centred on leading and delivering our apprenticeship work-based curriculum across Levels 4, 5 and 6 for both Quantity Surveying (QS) and Construction Management (CM) pathways. You will be the Module Leader for our work-based modules, these modules run alongside apprentices’ academic modules and are explicitly designed to help apprentices apply learning in the workplace, evidence Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs), and progress confidently towards gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA) / Apprenticeship Assessment (AA) readiness. The modules will support apprentices across the following standards delivered within our provision: Level 4: Construction Quantity Surveying Technician; Construction Site Supervisor Level 6: Chartered Surveyor (Quantity Surveying pathway); Construction Quantity Surveyor; Construction Site Manager Alongside your module leadership responsibilities, you will also hold a defined tripartite caseload as an Academic Liaison Tutor, supporting apprentices and employers through on-programme progress reviews (apprentice–employer–university) to monitor progress, agree actions, and ensure workplace activity aligns with module and programme requirements. Do you enjoy shaping a coherent work-based learner journey, can lead modules with confidence, and is energised by working with apprentices and employers to turn workplace practice into strong academic and professional evidence? Project Coordination and Client Engagement Lead or participate in project discussions with customers, ensuring proper assessment of Food Safety and Occupational Safety and Health risks. Establish and maintain all necessary project documentation and compliance records. Conduct briefings and training sessions on equipment, processes, and site requirements for customers and visitors. 2. Operational Supervision and Execution Supervise or execute operations in designated rooms, ensuring compliance with established requirements. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues during operations. Conduct pre-run preparation and post-run cleaning to maintain operational efficiency and hygiene. 3. Quality and Compliance Maintain accurate records for identification and traceability of projects and operations. Develop mastery of machine capabilities and operational knowledge to optimize performance. 4. Training and Workshop Support Plan and execute training courses, workshops, and seminars to support food companies and foster industry innovation. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemical Process, or a related discipline. 2-5 years of experience in Research and Development or Manufacturing processes, particularly with UHT/HTST, spray drying, extrusion, retort processing, freeze drying, and similar technologies. Key Competencies Skills and Attributes: Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task management. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. Technical proficiency and hands-on expertise in equipment and processes.
