Ovidus University of Constanta is the largest European university in the Black Sea and is situated in Constanta, Southeast Romania. The university was established in 1990 and offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
The university offers free tuition to many of its students and offers over 1,200 merit scholarships and 400 social grants.
There are 16 faculties: dentistry, economic sciences, history and political sciences, pharmacy, medicine, psychology and education sciences, letters, physical education, theology, mathematics and informatics, applied sciences and engineering, arts, natural and agricultural sciences, law and administrative sciences, civil engineering, and mechanical, industrial and maritime engineering.
Students can take part in a range of activities including sports and exercise using the campus’ gymnasium, tennis courts, and watersports facilities. There’s also opportunities to become involved in classic music, theatre, ballet and more.
Constanta has the largest harbour in the Black Sea.
