In order to deliver on the University's ambitious strategic plan, we are seeking academics and professionals who are passionate about improving health outcomes and/or health equity in the local, national and global communities, who are committed to research, and are team players, ready to contribute across the broad field of academic activities. The University is seeking to employ a Research Fellow (Level B) to join the team of Prof. Steve Kamper and team in MMFF funded medical research study - Pain Smart. The aim of the study is to estimate the effect of a pain education module plus (for those reporting significant musculoskeletal pain) or individualised support to students attending secondary schools. This is a study led by a team from the University of Sydney and is a Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) supported by the Australian Government. Prof. Kamper and team have developed a pain education module and tailored biopsychosocial care for those who experience significant musculoskeletal pain.
