About you You are dedicated and forward-thinking with expertise in Mathematics and ready to contribute to a thriving academic environment. Ideally, you will have a research record in mathematics with applications to machine learning and an ability to develop industry partnerships attracting associated funding. To be successful in this role, you will have: A PhD in Mathematics or related area. Demonstrated record of publication or non-traditional research output in high quality outlets Demonstrated outstanding research record in applied mathematics. Demonstrated capacity for independent research; contributing as a chief investigator, including collaborations which create new insights and opportunities. Demonstrated outstanding performance in a range of higher-level internal duties, providing a strong contribution to external activities, and developing international collaborations. Skills in active and effective record of supervision of Honours/Masters research projects. Demonstrated ability to achieve teaching quality as indicated by internal and external surveys and outcomes for students Willingness and ability to contribute to outreach activities, School/College governance, organisational administration (including course coordination) and initiative/activities within the University.
