In addition to providing a solid academic education, we also place a special emphasis on the personal development of students. Your workplace: The History Study Programme Management at the Faculty of History and Cultural Studies covers five institutes and offers two bachelor's and six master's programmes. It has approximately 5,000 students. As a senior lecturer, you will be involved in teaching on the History study programme. The full-time position involves an average of 14 hours of academic teaching per week. If your performance is evaluated positively at the end of the one-year fixed-term contract, the position will be converted to a permanent position by mutual agreement. Your future tasks: You will teach 14 SWS per semester, with a focus on the bachelor's level of the BA History and BEd History and Political Education programmes. The teaching portfolio also includes courses in the introductory and orientation phase (StEOP). If required, you may also be assigned courses at the master's level. You will be expected to keep up to date with the latest developments in the field, undertake further training in teaching methods and carry out research tasks during the lecture-free period. In addition, you will be required to perform administrative tasks, particularly in the area of teaching administration. You must be willing to contribute to the further development of teaching in the field of history, for example through the use of AI or the implementation of new curricula. Depending on requirements, the teaching duties will focus on the following areas: Austrian history in a European and global context; Sources and methods of historical studies Historical research and writing Conducting courses with integrated examinations (guided readings, proseminars, seminars) What we expect: Excellent knowledge of German Academic qualification in the form of a completed doctorate in the field of Austrian history of the late Middle Ages or early modern period. About the role The Department of War Studies seeks to appoint a Lecturer in International Relations Education to contribute to the Department’s capacity for teaching and scholarship in international relations. The post is on the Academic Education Pathway (AEP) and focuses on the delivery of education, education-related scholarship, and leadership in education. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the Department of War Studies, especially its BA and MA programmes in International Relations. We are passionate chemists at CEITEC Masaryk University looking for Two PhD Candidates/Students in Molecular Strategies for Anticancer Drug Delivery About this position: We are seeking two highly motivated PhD candidates with a strong interest in understanding chemotherapy at the molecular level. The project focuses on the development of molecular strategies for the delivery of anticancer drugs using macromolecular carriers. The successful candidates will work at the interface of organic and inorganic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry (including capsules and cages), biovectorization, and the targeted delivery of metallodrugs. These interdisciplinary projects offer training in advanced synthetic and supramolecular methodologies within a collaborative research environment. Our laboratory is equipped with modern synthetic facilities and has access to state-of-the-art supramolecular characterization techniques, including high-field NMR instruments available through our local core facility. In addition, we maintain strong and effective collaborations with the cancer institute, enabling translational perspectives for the project.
