National Institute of Applied Sciences, Strasbourg (INSA Strasbourg) specialises in architecture and engineering degree courses. There are seven engineering specialities, from mechanical engineering to plastics engineering and mechatronics.
The university also offers a dual architecture-engineering course. All architecture students, as well as 20 per cent of engineering students on construction-related courses, are awarded a bachelor’s degree in architecture and engineering, in addition to their primary qualification.
INSA Strasbourg has close links with industry. On average, INSA students secure their first job less than a month after graduation.
Rooms are reserved for international students in university halls of residence. The students’ union organises activities and clubs for students. Eight other student associations, some of them subject-specific, contribute to student life at INSA.

The post holder will have skills and experience in managing a team of technicians; supporting, advising and assisting researchers where appropriate and carrying out roles as a Named Animal Care and Welfare Officer, and Named Training and Competency Officer.The role has a legal obligation under the Animal (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 in an animal welfare and ethical capacity and provides a service to internal and external research and companies.
