Serve as AI mentor for existing SIT domain faculty through joint projects and co-supervision mechanisms. Qualifications: PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant domain with demonstrated AI/ML research experience. Equivalent industry experience may also be considered. Essential Academic and/or industrial experience in design and managing digital supply chain solutioning and supply chain management. Having a background and interest in one or more fields of digital supply chain, including but not limited to digital supply chain transformation, digital manufacturing, E-procurement, E-commerce, E-logistics. Experience and knowledgeable in one or more areas of supply chain operations management, risk management and operations research, such as demand forecasting, inventory control, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse and transportation simulation, optimization and management. The Applied Research Fellowship aims to provide doctoral candidates who are about to complete or have recently completed their studies an opportunity to engage in advanced training and/or research at an overseas university for one year. Besides financial support, awardees will also receive academic mentorship. Upon completion of the Fellowship, awardees will be considered for Assistant Professorship. Job overview Shifts in Finnish society, including growing diversification and inequality, require management studies to embrace new perspectives and approaches to management development. The appointee will research and develop educational management and management education. A broad familiarity with educational management is required, and may relate to areas such as pedagogical management, educational and learning management in various organisations, or the management of educational and school communities. Teaching responsibilities will span the degree programmes coordinated by the Faculty of Educational Sciences, with a particular emphasis on a master’s programme currently in development in educational and learning management. The appointee will be responsible for not only undergraduate but also doctoral education in the field. The assistant, associate or full professorship is linked to the development of the educational and teaching sector ecosystem within the EDUCA Flagship.
