The newly established Faculty of Science at the University of Macau (UM) invites applications for the position of Full/Associate/Assistant Professor in Biology. This recruitment supports the launch of the new Department of Biological Science, part of UM’s strategic initiative to strengthen its foundation in fundamental and applied sciences. As part of UM’s broader academic development plan, the university is undertaking a major structural expansion by restructuring and establishing five faculties in science and technology. Among them, the Faculty of Science will be formed based on relevant program of the current Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). The new Faculty will include the Department of Biological Science, Department of Chemistry, Department of Physics, and Department of Mathematics. Remuneration A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP1,250,200 (approximately USD154,350) for the position of Full Professor, MOP1,052,800 (approximately USD129,980) for the position of Associate Professor and MOP855,400 (approximately USD105,600) for the position of Assistant Professor will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience.
