GoGreen Next is a 54-month EU Horizon Europe funded project to promote urban health, targeting four European pilot sites, which ends on 30th June 2028. The Research Assistant will support the principal investigator (Dr. Tadhg MacIntyre) and all members of the research team to meet the communication and dissemination aims and objectives of the project. They will assist with managing all stages in the development of communication and dissemination outputs, conducting analytics on the impact of outputs and reporting on these contributions. As a core member of the research team, the appointee will contribute to presentations to the steering committee and consortium, and to periodic reporting which may arise. The Assistant Lecturer should possess a Master degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline. He/she will assist the Curriculum Coordinator in coordinating program activities, conducting organizational analysis, and assessing training needs. The role also involves liaising with stakeholders, assisting in the delivery of training and coaching activities (which may include taking up part of the teaching duties), collecting and analyzing feedback from training and consultation sessions to inform ongoing improvements, and supporting implementation of the program. He/she may also contribute to the development of curriculum and teaching materials, evaluation efforts, etc. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will come with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
