Established in 2000 by M.Kumarasamy Health and Educational Trust, the M.Kumarasamy College of Engineering was built to provide high quality technical education to the region. The university offers a range of undergraduate programmes within the engineering discipline including science and engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering anf civl engineering among others. The university also offers postgraduate degrees in computer applications and communication systems. In addition to these degrees the university offers "value added courses" in each department. These courses take place after usual hours and include a range of topics including C Language, Catia, embedded systems and fundamentals of computer programming. On campus there are many facilities including a library with more than 60,000 books and an automatic book issue machine, fitness centre and various sports courts, accommodation and a food hall.

It receives allocation from Science Faculty Niche Research Area to establish world-class research teams to develop the necessary experimental platforms, modelling and data analysis capabilities. Research Assistant Professor (25260446) Responsibilities: The Department is recruiting one scholar at the rank of Research Assistant Professor in applied probability, data science, machine learning, and spatial statistics. Candidates with a strong background in the development of novel models and original methodologies are preferred. Requirements: Applicants should possess a relevant PhD degree with a solid and outstanding track record in research. They should have a solid statistical background, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship. The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Description Location Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Description The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a motivated Research engineer to work under the supervision of Dr. Marwa Chafii on Channel Modeling for integrated sensing and communication (ISAC). Responsibilities: Lead the design, setup, and execution of ISAC channel measurement campaigns across multiple environments, hardware platforms, and frequency bands Develop, validate, and document ISAC channel modeling methodologies tailored to the lab’s hardware/software testbed. Integrate SDRs (e.g., USRPs, RFSoC) and RF front-ends (FR2, FR3, V-band) into end-to-end ISAC demonstrators. Implement and optimize advanced signal processing algorithms for joint communication and sensing. Analyze experimental datasets, extract statistical models, and compare findings across environments, hardware, and frequency bands. Collaborate with PhD students, postdocs, and faculty on joint projects, ensuring experimental results support theoretical work. Co-author scientific publications in IEEE journals and conferences, and contribute to open datasets/methodologies for the research community. Requirements: Education: Ph.D. (preferred) or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a closely related field. SDR Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SDRs (USRP, RFSoC, or equivalent). FPGA programming experience is a plus. Programming Skills: Strong experience with MATLAB and/or Python; experience with C++ for high-performance signal processing is a plus. Experimentation: Proven experience developing wireless prototypes, demonstrators, or proof-of-concept systems. Signal Processing: Solid knowledge of channel estimation, channel sounding, and multipath modeling (channel impulse response, frequency response, MIMO models, AoA, AoD, delay, Doppler, etc). RF Systems: Familiarity with RF front-ends, antennas, calibration, synchronization, and over-the-air testing. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment, working with researchers and engineers at different seniority levels. Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills for preparing technical reports, presentations, and publications. Independence: Proven ability to work independently, from problem formulation, experimental design, and system integration to data analysis and reporting. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students. Job Description: The Geology and Sustainable Mining Institute (GSMI) of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) invites applications for the position of Assistant professor in vertebrate or macroinvertebrate paleontology. The Moroccan palaeontological heritage is extremely abundant and diversified. Over 800 million years of sedimentation have yielded one of the most complete and fossil-rich sequences on Earth, from evidences of bacterial life in the Anti-Atlas to the rise of the first modern humans in the Jebel Irhoud.UM6P is keen to excel in scientific research that meets the country's needs and makes the best possible use of its natural resources within a framework of sustainable development. In keeping with its ambition to rank among the world's leading universities in fields such as social responsibility and sustainable development, the university has decided to create a Research Center dedicated to Palaeontology, designed for preserving and improving this paleontological heritage and promoting it through exhibitions and scientific research. The Assistant professor in Palaeontology will be part of this growing team, carrying out high-level scientific research in palaeontology, contributing to the management of the fossil collections and teaching at the university.
