Misr University for Science and Technology was established in 1996. The university is an active member of the Association of Arab universities, the International Association of University Presidents and the Association of African Universities.
The university is home to a 13 faculties, including medicine, biotechnology and media and mass communication among others.
The central library is characterised by its distinctive architectural design. There’s also a sports centre with squash, tennis, basketball, handball and volleyball facilities, along with a football pitch.
The MUST Opera House provides students with the opportunity to dance, sing, act, play and craft. The MUST Test Centre is one of the only centres in Egypt where students can take the Pearson Test of English Academic exam. There’s also a hospital, museum and mosque on campus.
