Misr University for Science and Technology was established in 1996. The university is an active member of the Association of Arab universities, the International Association of University Presidents and the Association of African Universities. The university is home to a 13 faculties, including medicine, biotechnology and media and mass communication among others. The central library is characterised by its distinctive architectural design. There’s also a sports centre with squash, tennis, basketball, handball and volleyball facilities, along with a football pitch. The MUST Opera House provides students with the opportunity to dance, sing, act, play and craft. The MUST Test Centre is one of the only centres in Egypt where students can take the Pearson Test of English Academic exam. There’s also a hospital, museum and mosque on campus.

We are seeking a qualified Research Fellow to join a team with an international reputation for producing high quality research outcomes in the area of innovative spectroscopic tools for EV analysis. The position consists of leading the development of new EV engineering platform for a better understanding of the chirality of EV for an enhanced cellular uptake. Faculty Openings in the Accountancy Programme The Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Accountancy was one of the first three programmes conferred by SIT. The programme is accredited by Singapore’s national accountancy body, the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), as well as several leading global accountancy professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Uniquely, the programme is also recognised under the University Affiliation Programme by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute. This three-year direct honours degree was developed through extensive consultations with industry leaders and accreditation bodies. Learners may choose to specialise in one of five accountancy domains: Applied Finance, Audit, Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, and Taxation. We currently have positions available at all levels from Assistant Professor to Full Professor in the area of Financial Accounting (Sustainability Reporting and Carbon Accounting). Proven ability to teach at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels in relevant subject areas, including but not limited to: Sustainability and Integrated Reporting ESG Performance Measurement Climate Risk and Carbon Footprint Analysis Corporate Accountability and Ethics A track record of publications, or clear pipelines, in peer-reviewed journals or professional outlets within the domains of sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, ESG, or climate disclosure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with learners, colleagues, and industry partners. Willingness and ability to contribute to the design, review, and enhancement of curricula in accounting, sustainability, or ESG-related disciplines. Preferred Attributes For recent PhD graduates, relevant industry experience is preferred. Proficiency in applying tools such as life cycle analysis (LCA), carbon footprint calculators, and sustainability reporting platforms (e.g., CDP, SASB, GRESB). Familiarity with ASEAN, Asia-Pacific, or global carbon markets, regulatory frameworks, and corporate sustainability trends. Participation in professional dialogues, panels, or advisory roles related to ESG assurance, climate policy, or sustainability strategy. Membership or active involvement in relevant professional bodies, such as ISCA, AICPA, ICAEW, CPA Australia, CA ANZ, or accounting standards boards and working groups
