Applicants should hold a BA and a relevant Master’s degree, with at least 2 years of teaching experience in tertiary education and proven expertise in teaching French to non-native speakers. They should be native or near-native speakers of French and possess strong communication skills in English (fluency in Cantonese or Putonghua is an advantage). Applicants should also be familiar with current trends in language teaching and have solid experience in event management. The appointee will be expected to teach a range of courses at various levels, assist in organising cultural events, and promote both Global and Area Studies (GLAS) programme and the French programme. The aim of the study is to estimate the effect of a pain education module plus (for those reporting significant musculoskeletal pain) or individualised support to students attending secondary schools. This is a study led by a team from the University of Sydney and is a Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) supported by the Australian Government. Prof. Kamper and team have developed a pain education module and tailored biopsychosocial care for those who experience significant musculoskeletal pain.
