Founded in 1925, Memorial University has grown to become one of the best comprehensive universities in Canada and among the top 20 research universities in the country. Memorial offers one of the best student-faculty ratios in all of Canada. And our students are eligible for more than 1,300 scholarships, bursaries and awards from entrance to undergraduate and graduate. This includes $1.5 million in entrance scholarships and $9.5 million in graduate fellowships and scholarships. Our students have also received over 50 Rhodes scholarships along with other national and international awards.

We have a robust network of student supports for both undergraduates and graduates, and we offer very competitive tuition rates to help ensure our students can succeed in a place where they belong.
