About the Job You will act as the first point of contact for all visitors and provide a high standard of customer care to all students living in UEL Halls of Residence, prospective residents, UEL colleagues and all other visitors to the Residential Life office.  The postholder will work on delivering an excellent, effective and customer focused experience for our 1169 student residents in the Halls of Residence, which requires administrative skills and attention to detail. Working alongside colleagues within the team and the wider University, the postholder must ensure a high level of service is provided. About You Educated to a degree level or equivalent, you will have experience in a customer-facing role. You should have strong customer service, communication, IT and administrative skills. You are expected to be flexible to respond to the needs of the Residential Life team and stakeholders depending on changing client requirements and the priorities of the team and are required to work regular weekends. Position Details  Continuing | Full-Time Higher Education Officer Level 7 | $100,233 - $110,954 p.a.  Location: Bedford Park  View Position Description  About Information and Digital Services Information and Digital Services (IDS) are a pivotal resource of the University, providing information and digital technology services and support to the Flinders University staff and student community. The IDS team apply technical expertise to support university projects and provide core services such as the IDS Service Desk, Audio visual, simulation and event services, Information security and identity access management services and more. About the Role  As the Identity Services Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the operations and continuous improvement of the University’s identity management service – a collection of vendor solutions and custom application code that provides automated user registration, provisioning, authentication, access governance and compliance functionality for the University’s student, staff, and affiliate population. The role works closely with other practitioners and teams to ensure continuous identity management service improvement. Some of the key position responsibilities of the role are: Troubleshooting the operation of the University’s identity management platform (comprising Okta/SailPoint Identity Now/Entra ID/Dell Boomi/Active Directory and custom-developed utilities). Assisting with deployment and integration of new identity management capabilities within implementation teams of varying size, comprising IDS staff, business representatives, and resources from third party suppliers. Interfacing with University stakeholders and customers for identity services, ensuring their requirements are well understood and incorporated into the identity management services and initiatives. Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks related to the activities being undertaken by the role in line with IDS and Flinders University policies and procedures. About You  As the Identity Services Specialist, you will be an experienced specialist, possessing excellent technical management and support skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve user provisioning issues across integrated applications, and the University’s identity management platform. You will be assisting with writing technical and user documentation, as well as conducting system testing that enhance the identity service. You are a driven professional with a growth mindset.
