This role reports directly to the University Vice President of Academic Affairs and serves as the chief academic and administrative leader of the School of HSS. Description The Social Science Experimental Laboratory (SSEL) at New York University Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Post-doctoral Researcher position. Description The Micro- and Nanoscale Bioengineering Lab (MNBL) at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking to recruit a research assistant to study various human diseases using an organ/organoid-on-a-chip approach. Research in the MNBL focuses on designing and fabricating microphysiological systems to study various diseases affecting multiple human organs in vitro. Possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in: Deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) Deep learning models (e.g., YOLO, U-Net, EfficientNet, ResNet, FPN, Fast R-CNN) Computer vision techniques and algorithms Python and relevant libraries (e.g., PyQt, OpenCV, NumPy, scikit-learn), particularly for developing Windows desktop application software incorporating deep learning models 2. Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic/Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or PhD degree in relevant areas will be advantageous. 3.
