The Mumbai campus will offer the following degree programs: Bachelor’s in Computer Science Master’s in Computer Science Bachelor’s in Artificial Intelligence Master’s in Artificial Intelligence Master’s in Data Science Position Summary Illinois Institute of Technology invites applications for Associate Professor and Professor level teaching-track faculty positions for its Mumbai campus. These positions will primarily focus on delivering high-quality undergraduate instruction for the BS programs in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence, student mentorship, and curriculum development. Senior faculty will also contribute to academic leadership, program development, and mentoring of junior faculty, helping establish a strong academic foundation for Illinois Tech’s Mumbai campus. Courses will be delivered in person in Mumbai, India, and online teaching is not an option. Key Responsibilities Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Deliver foundational and core courses including: Object-Oriented Programming Data Structures Discrete Structures Computer Organization Introduction to Machine Learning Contribute to curriculum development and course design Mentor and advise undergraduate students Participate in departmental, college, and campus service activities Provide academic leadership and mentorship to junior faculty Support the development and growth of Illinois Tech Mumbai academic programs Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience or interest in: Object-Oriented Programming Data Structures Discrete Structures Computer Organization Machine Learning Qualifications Applicants must have: A minimum of an M.S. Job Responsibilities Provide information materials and consultation on studying abroad, exchange programs, funding, and scholarships. Assist in application and selection processes for international programs in coordination with Academic Affairs. Manage application procedures, coordinate nomination processes, and support students in preparing required documents for double-degree or other exchange programs. The Role and Department The Department's undergraduate curriculum is notable for its historical and cultural breadth, combining compulsory modules in Theory, Shakespeare and an independent Dissertation, with a range of period-based modules taught by lectures and tutorials, and research-led special topic semininars. There are thriving MA programmes in English Literary Studies and in Creative Writing, and a lively community of PhD students. Applications are invited for a Teaching Fellow in Medieval Literature . This is a 1.0 FTE position for 12 months only. The successful applicant will: potentially contribute to the Department's provision of Old English deliver lectures as required in these areas supervise Level 3 undergraduate dissertations potentially supervise MA theses contribute to lively and stimulating small group teaching, in person undertake assessment and examination of UG and MA student work, in and beyond Medieval literature act as an Academic Advisor to a group of UG students participate in the meetings of the Department as appropriate pursue opportunities for personal development The post-holder will report to the Head of Department. Career development opportunities will be offered. Teaching Fellowships offer the opportunity of valuable experience to those early in their academic careers and the University is keen to maximise the benefit to as many people as possible.The post of Teaching Fellow will involve a significant teaching load, which may extend into the summer period, and there may be related scholarship and the opportunity for administrative duties which relate to education and pedagogy.
