Kuwait College of Science and Technology is based in the Doha district to the west of Kuwait City, close to the Arabian Gulf’s Kuwait Bay. It was opened in 2016 as a private English-medium institution.
The Faculty of Engineering offers degrees in electronic and communications engineering, computer engineering, and computer science, while foundation programmes offer potential students a route into degree courses through two semesters of English, maths, physics and information technology.
The curriculum for cybernetics, artificial intelligence, data analytics, renewable energy, and instrumentation is being developed in partnership with IIT Delhi. Bayes Business School, London is assisting with engineering and business programmes and Bentley Business School, Massachusetts advises on executive education.
Research facilities include the first Cyber Security Laboratory at any university in the Middle East and a Renewable Energy Standalone Testbed.
The campus has auditoriums, lecture theatres, laboratories, a library, smart classrooms and outdoor sports facilities.

The Faculty supports high quality epidemiological studies and complex clinical trials in nursing, midwifery, palliative care, rehabilitation, technologies, and health services research. You will contribute to new grant applications and advise on studies to completion and publication, including supervision of junior statisticians. You will also contribute to teaching, provide PhD and MSc supervision and contribute to improving statistical skills across the Faculty. You will be associated with the UKCRC-registered King’s Clinical Trials Unit (CTU), working to their quality management system. The King’s CTU has world-leading statistical and trial delivery expertise and provides randomisation services and other management system support. We are offering an exciting opportunity for two Clinical Psychologists to join the Clinical Psychology Training Programme at the University of Surrey, based in Guildford. We have two permanent, part-time roles available (0.6 FTE/21.6 hours per week). We welcome all areas of clinical expertise, with particular interest in candidates experienced in neuropsychological assessment or working with older adults and people with learning disabilities. Successful candidates will: Work effectively as part of a team Be committed to developing trainee clinical competencies Ideally contribute to the programme’s research profile Support inclusive leadership and embed equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the programme All post-holders need to: Hold a doctorate in clinical psychology (or equivalent) Contribute to evaluation of clinical competencies Develop and maintain links with local NHS Trusts Contribute to teaching, learning, and programme administration Engage in leadership development opportunities offered by the role Have experience working in the NHS This post will be offered at Lecturer A or B level depending on clinical and teaching experience (see job profiles below for more information). A formal teaching qualification is required for those applying for Lecturer B. The full time equivalent salary range for a Lecturer A is £37,694 - £56,535, and for a Lecturer B is £47,389 - £63,606 (pro rata for 0.6 FTE).
