Job Description SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, MARKETING AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS Senior Lecturer / Lecturer I / Lecturer II (Information Systems) (25260706) The Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems invites dynamic and experienced professionals to apply for a position at the rank of Senior Lecturer or Lecturer I/II within our Information Systems and Business Intelligence team. We are seeking individuals with strong technical expertise and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will contribute to our growing programmes through innovative instruction, curriculum development, and enhancing students’ technical capabilities. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality teaching and student engagement at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; Develop and teach courses in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, E-Business, Data Management, Management Information Systems, and Python programming; and Contribute to curriculum development and innovation in the field of the application of AI in business. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with a doctoral degree in MIS or Computer Science, who can help integrate technical know-how and academic knowledge with practical industry applications. The position will be located at the Kowloon Tong campus and will be primarily responsible for teaching and assisting in programme management and development. An initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years commencing September 2026 or the earliest available date. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Description The Mathematics Program in the Science Division, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a post-doctoral associate to work on one or more of the following topics: Mathematical Physics, Spectral Theory, Quantum Chaos, Large Graphs and Quantum Walks. Related areas such as Quantum Information can also be considered. This position is offered through the research funds of Mostafa Sabri. The Mathematics Program at NYUAD is quickly expanding, the candidate will find many international experts and postdocs with whom to interact. Weekly seminars are in place across the various research areas represented at NYUAD. The successful applicant will also receive a mobility credit to participate in conferences. Applicants must have a PhD in Mathematics, with a strong background in one of the advertised topics, as well as an excellent academic record. Candidates with PhDs in Physics or Computer Science may also be considered if they willing to collaborate with mathematicians on these topics. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed twice. In the first interview, the candidate will give a talk summarizing earlier research. Description The Center for Quantum and Topological Systems (CQTS), New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to work on interdisciplinary research in quantum systems. The successful applicant will Performing interdisciplinary research in quantum systems within the projects of the center and in alignment with its goals, in collaboration and coordination with the PI and/or the Co-PIs, potentially leading to quality publications. Participation in the activities of the center, including workshops, training sessions, seminars, conferences, hackathons, meetings, and interaction with visitors. Mentoring of undergraduate research students in coordination with the PI and Co-PIs. Promoting the research done at the center by giving talks at national and international seminars/ meetings/ workshops/ conferences. Helping in teaching tutorials/recitations as the need arises.
