Describing itself as "one of the premier engineering institutes" of the south Indian state of Karnataka, KLE was founded in 1947. Today it is spread across three cities; its law is school based in Bangalaru (Bangalore). A university since 2012, KLE’s current focuses are engineering, management and law. But it has set itself the target of emerging as a multidisciplinary research university by 2031. It currently enrols more than 8,000 undergraduate students and 700 postgraduates. These are split across the school of engineering, which offers 1,340 undergraduate places each year, the school of management and the departments of computing, commerce, legal studies and science. In 2023, it awarded 1,619 undergraduate degrees, about two-thirds to men, while a small majority of the 245 postgraduate degrees went to women. In 2022, KLE was accredited at A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, with a grade point average of 3.1 out of 4. It was ranked 180th among India’s numerous engineering institutions in the 2021 National Institutional Rankings Framework. KLE was named as one of five global institutions to watch in a MIT-JWEL survey of engineering education.

Your opportunity Southern Cross University’s Gnibi College of Indigenous Australian Peoples is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Knowledge to provide academic leadership across teaching, research, community engagement, and Higher Degree Research (HDR) supervision. This is a key role within the College, with a strong focus on leading HDR supervision and contributing to a high-quality research training environment. You will support HDR candidates through their academic journey, fostering rigorous, culturally grounded research and strong completion outcomes. Alongside this, you will contribute to the design and delivery of Indigenous Knowledge programs, including teaching in areas such as Indigenous philosophies. You will play an important role in shaping curriculum, strengthening research capability and contributing to a connected, values-driven academic community. Job Description SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, MARKETING AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS Senior Lecturer / Lecturer I / Lecturer II (Information Systems) (25260706) The Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems invites dynamic and experienced professionals to apply for a position at the rank of Senior Lecturer or Lecturer I/II within our Information Systems and Business Intelligence team. We are seeking individuals with strong technical expertise and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will contribute to our growing programmes through innovative instruction, curriculum development, and enhancing students’ technical capabilities. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality teaching and student engagement at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; Develop and teach courses in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, E-Business, Data Management, Management Information Systems, and Python programming; and Contribute to curriculum development and innovation in the field of the application of AI in business. Description The Mathematics Program in the Science Division, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a post-doctoral associate to work on one or more of the following topics: Mathematical Physics, Spectral Theory, Quantum Chaos, Large Graphs and Quantum Walks. Related areas such as Quantum Information can also be considered. This position is offered through the research funds of Mostafa Sabri. The Mathematics Program at NYUAD is quickly expanding, the candidate will find many international experts and postdocs with whom to interact. Weekly seminars are in place across the various research areas represented at NYUAD. The successful applicant will also receive a mobility credit to participate in conferences. Applicants must have a PhD in Mathematics, with a strong background in one of the advertised topics, as well as an excellent academic record. Candidates with PhDs in Physics or Computer Science may also be considered if they willing to collaborate with mathematicians on these topics. For consideration, applicants need to submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae with a full publication list, a research statement, a transcript, and at least two letters of reference, all in PDF format. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed twice. In the first interview, the candidate will give a talk summarizing earlier research.
