Kanazawa Seiryo University is located in the Ishikawa region of Japan. It was established in 1967 as Kanazawa Keizai University. Its name formally changed to its current name in 2002.

The university has three main faculties: economics, human sciences, humanities and a graduate school of strategic management. The faculty of economics is usually the most popular enrolling around 1,700 students per year, making up around half of the total students at Kanazawa Seiryo University.

The full-time courses at Kanazawa are four-years in length, and students can choose from a range of subjects in child studies, economics, business administration, sports and several others.

The university has inter-university exchange agreements with 57 overseas institutions across 18 countries, including China, Korea, Russia, Germany, Australia, and the UK.

Whilst studying at Kanazawa University, there are a number of events on offer to students. They can participate in the International Culture Festival, Traditional Kanazawa Festival and several university festivals. Students have the opportunity to develop and showcase their skills through the international student Speech Contest, Japanese Culture workshops and other extra-curricular activities.

In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that reduce environmental impact without compromising scientific excellence. You’ll drive accreditation through frameworks such as LEAF, Green Disc, and My Green Lab, and champion a culture of environmentally responsible research across King’s. Reporting to the Sustainability Innovation Lead (Research), you’ll work closely with academics, researchers, and technical teams to influence everyday behaviours, deliver training, and share our strategy at events and departmental talks. You’ll also manage projects, analyse data to identify opportunities, and showcase successes through compelling case studies and presentations. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable research at King’s, with a real chance to make a lasting impact both within the university and in collaboration with external partners. It’s a hands-on role shaping the future of sustainable research and helping King’s tackle global challenges while enabling outstanding science Hybrid Working:  This role offers a flexible working arrangement, blending remote and on-campus work. To effectively engage with research operations, the post-holder may spend up to four days a week on-site, gaining invaluable insight into King’s laboratory environments and day-to-day activities. ​ This is a permanent, full-time (35 Hours per week) position (35 Hours per week). This directorate plays a key role in advancing the university’s digital education ambitions, with a focus on core systems, innovation, digital skills, and agile delivery.  ​Through this partnership, you’ll contribute directly to the enhancement of the platforms and environments that support online and blended learning across King’s College London. Provide support for clinical trials conducted in general practice that aim to improve health outcomes for people with musculoskeletal pain Part-time (0.5FTE) fixed-term opportunity until 31 March 2027 Base Salary $89,755 (pro rata) + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Institute for Musculoskeletal Health is an academic research organisation that runs studies to improve global health outcomes. We do this by bringing together world-leading experts in trials (design, methods, and conduct), biostatistics, patient-reported outcomes, health economics, translational research, research synthesis, and health technology assessment. Collaborative partnerships help us to ensure trial results best inform clinical practice. The Institute for Musculoskeletal Health is part of the University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health (FMH). Our researchers work collaboratively with researchers within the FMH and across the University to advance the quality and effectiveness of research. The Clinical Trial Assistant works as part of the clinical trials research team in a support role to perform general administrative duties for the COMFORT and SAGE trials - trials designed to support general practitioners optimise the management of people with low back and neck pain. The Clinical Trial Assistant tasks include: site visits and site monitoring, patient-participant follow-up, preparing documents, maintaining records, data entry, updating and collating materials, responding to queries and exploring and sourcing solutions for the trial team and collaborative groups. This role will involve travel between associated sites, University precincts and other locations as required. Hybrid working arrangements will be discussed with your manager if you are successful in this position. The Role and the Department The Arts and Humanities Faculty Global Opportunities Coordinator role is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a cross-departmental team providing support to the staff and students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. In collaboration with academic colleagues, coordinating the monitoring and recording of placement activity to ensure that students can travel abroad safely and in accordance with relevant policy and legislation. Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key University stakeholders responsible for year abroad provision, as well as external stakeholders in partner institutions.
