Your next career opportunity You will deliver cutting-edge neurophysiotherapy within a landmark randomised trial testing psychedelic-assisted treatment for functional movement disorder. You will refine specialist skills under world-leading supervision, while contributing to high-impact research and potential higher degree pathways. What you will deliver: Complete specialist training in physiotherapy for functional neurological disorder and apply these methods in daily clinical practice. Deliver intensive physiotherapy programmes to participants with functional movement disorder and healthy controls within trial protocols. Conduct standardised motor assessments and accurately document clinical changes throughout the intervention period. Provide local leadership at Austin Health, coordinating trial activities, timelines and communication with the broader research team. Contribute to high-quality data collection, auditing, and preparation of ethics submissions, manuscripts and future funding applications. You may be a great fit if: You hold a recognised Physiotherapy degree and postgraduate neurology expertise, with current professional registration where required. You bring experience working with neurological or functional movement disorders, ideally within multidisciplinary or hospital-based settings. You demonstrate strong organisational skills, managing competing priorities, trial schedules and detailed documentation reliably. You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive clinical research team. You have experience with data quality assurance, auditing or clinical research processes, including Good Clinical Practice principles. The Role and Department The Development and Alumni Relations Office is responsible for co-ordinating philanthropy, alumni and supporter engagement, advancement services, and supporter communications on behalf of the University. DARO works with colleges, academic departments, research centres and institutes, wider student experience partners, and professional departments to engage over 200,000 alumni and supporters around the world. We contribute to the enhancement of Durham University's reputation as globally outstanding, inclusive, and forward-looking. We are an ambitious and committed team with a collaborative and collegiate culture. The Development Team within DARO is ultimately responsible for: soliciting donations from alumni, philanthropists, corporations, trusts and foundations and other charitable bodies; stewarding donors through reports, presentations, events and face-to-face meetings; meeting with gift beneficiaries to collate and produce gift impact reporting materials; hosting and devising engagement opportunities for existing and prospective benefactors on campus; and managing relationships with high-level stakeholders on behalf of the University. Senior Development Managers are primarily responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding principal/major donations of £100K - £1M+. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of some of the University's most senior benefactors and advocates, working closely with senior colleagues across the University but with a particular focus on legacies and planned giving. Your portfolio will primarily comprise individual donors, but will include legacy and planned giving prospects, and may also include trusts and foundations, corporate donors/sponsors, and other philanthropic organisations. The Senior Development Manager will play a critical role in the delivery of Durham's bicentenary Campaign. The Campaign is a major philanthropic initiative centred on the University's 200th anniversary in 2032, seeking to create a step-change in philanthropic giving to Durham. The post-holder must be versatile and able to work closely and with senior alumni, University leaders, prominent and public figures, the trustees of regional, national and global funding bodies, major benefactors and advocates, in multiple capacities which facilitate the development of principal/major donations and the advancement of Durham University. The successful applicant will join a team of fellow professionals within the Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine committed to providing excellence in teaching for the benefit of a new generation of vets.  In the role you will: Use your skills to support theoretical and practical teaching, including in animal husbandry and veterinary sciences across years one and two of the programme, clinical teaching in years three and four and veterinary public health teaching in year five of the programme. This will involve support of off-site teaching including our spay and neuter clinic. We are now looking for a highly motivated Research Fellow (PDRA) to join a short, focused research project in maritime transportation and shipping systems. This is a four-month fixed-term appointment under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, offering an opportunity to help shape an innovative research direction with strong potential for follow-on funding. You will contribute to the development of the conceptual and analytical foundations of a liner shipping model, undertake preliminary analysis, and support the translation of the work into a coherent, competitive research proposal aligned with UKRI and broader international maritime research priorities. Key responsibilities include: (1) assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of the project, (2) manage research resources, and contribute to the dissemination of research findings through publications and presentations at project meetings and relevant conferences. You should possess a good honours degree and a PhD (or equivalent professional experience) in Maritime transportation or Transportation Engineering relevant field. A solid background in liner shipping modelling and resilience modelling of maritime systems is essential. You must demonstrate your research capabilities and ability to disseminate findings through high-quality publications in international journals and referred conferences. Experience with research projects related to maritime shipping routes modelling, risk assessment, and management is preferred. You will work with a team of 11 postdoctoral/doctoral researchers in this ERC project on container transport risk, resilience, and sustainability analysis within the Liverpool Logistics Offshore and Marine Research Institute (LOOM) at Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
