We’re looking for a HR Process & Systems Support to join our team and play a key role in improving how we use systems, data and reporting across the business.

Key responsibilities


	Develop, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations.

	Build and maintain reliable datasets and reporting processes.
	Create and maintain Power BI data models, measures and DAX calculations.

	Support system upgrades, testing, implementation and continuous improvement.
	Maintain appropriate documentation for systems, reports, data sources and processes.
	Promote good data governance, accuracy and consistency across the organisation.
	Help respond to day to day queries and support for System users.


About you

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, curious and technically minded, with a genuine interest in using data and systems to improve the way a business operates.

You’ll ideally have:


	Experience working with Power BI and developing business dashboards and reports.
	Good knowledge of data analysis and visualisation.
	Experience working with databases, spreadsheets or other business data sources.
	An understanding of data modelling and DAX.
	Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
	The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
	Experience supporting or working with business systems.
	Excellent attention to detail, particularly around data accuracy.
	Strong communication skills

The Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The department will pursue tenure consideration for qualified candidates. The anticipated start date is August 2027.

Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in nuclear engineering-related subjects, developing and sustaining an externally funded research program, advising graduate students, publishing scholarly work, and providing service to the department, college, university, and professional community.

The UT Department of Nuclear Engineering is the largest Nuclear Engineering PhD program in the United States, with a diverse research portfolio and close collaborations with Idaho National Laboratory (INL), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), the Y-12 National Security Complex, and more than 150 nuclear-related companies within 50 miles of the campus. The department is housed in the state-of-the-art Zeanah Engineering Complex, home to more than 20 nuclear engineering laboratories and computational resources. Qualifications


	We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests strengthen and broaden the department's capabilities in one or more of the following areas: reliability and maintainability of nuclear systems and components; data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital twin technologies, and cyber security for nuclear applications; nuclear instrumentation and control; radiation instrumentation; robust decision-making, empirical/data-driven modeling, and process & equipment monitoring; thermal-fluid sciences and experimental reactor thermal-hydraulics.
	Candidates whose work bridges experimentation, computational modeling, sensing, and thermal­fluid or reactor systems analysis in support of reliable, sustainable nuclear power are especially encouraged to apply. Ideally, successful candidates will be able to contribute across more than one of these areas.

Position overview

The Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) Officer is part of the University Records section of the ANU Archives team. The work will involve listing and mapping changes in the updated Administrative Functions Disposal Authority to the Business Classification System retention periods. 

The position reports to the ERMS Administrator under the broad direction of the University Archivist and works closely with staff across the Archives in the interest of achieving team objectives. The ERMS Officer may also liaise with staff and students across the University and other stakeholders.

Postdoctoral researcher in community-based democratic responses to climate turbulence

The Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences and Faculty of Social Sciences invite applications for a fixed term position as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the area of climate democracy, including a focus on deliberative assemblies, food and energy systems, disaster and adaptation response, ecological urban design, and/or environmental justice approaches and responses to the climate crisis.

The position is linked to the Finnish Research Council Profi9 support for a project on Climate Democracy, led by Professor of Environmental Politics David Schlosberg. The preferred starting date is January 2027.

The successful candidate will join either the Department of Environmental Sciences in the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences or the Discipline of Social and Public Policy in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The position is initially offered for three years, with the possibility of extension depending on project funding and continuation.

About the position

The selected candidate will contribute to the management, coordination, and implementation of a range of project activities, including:


	Conduct collaborative and independent research on community-based democratic innovations and experiments in response to the climate crisis.
	Design and carry out assessments, evaluations, and comparisons of such processes with researchers and project partners, both academic and community-based.
	Coordinate and project-manage multiple researchers and a range of specific research tasks within the climate democracy project.
	Write peer review publications and preparing competitive grant applications.
	Prepare and support other project documentation, reports, and articles for both academic and public audiences.
	Take a leading role in organizing and promoting seminars and workshops in relation to the research (including communication, logistics, finance, and web/social media content).
	Actively contribute to research seminars and workshops, and to building a larger community of researchers and practitioners at the University of Helsinki and beyond.
	Teaching responsibilities can be 10 - 20% of annual working time


What we are looking for

We are looking for a collaborative and proactive person with strong project management, writing, and communication skills with a demonstrated interest in democratic and justice-based responses to the climate crisis. We expect the successful candidate to have: 


	completed a PhD in any area related to climate democracy, broadly defined, including humanities, social sciences, and/or natural sciences (the degree requirement must be met by the beginning of the employment)
	demonstrated knowledge and an emerging profile in a field(s) related to the climate crises and political and public responses
	evidence of the ability to conduct independent research and assume responsibility for the development and completion of research projects and publications
	an emerging track record in academic publications and the potential to develop further research expertise through various projects
	experience in project management
	a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
	experience in international and/or multidisciplinary settings
	excellent written and spoken English

A six-month trial period will be applied. The appointee is expected to reside in Finland while employed by the University of Helsinki. The workplace of the position will be at either the City Center or Viikki campus in Helsinki.
