On the continent, chronic diseases are becoming a major concern. The research will document this development and examine what measures are being taken to remedy this problem. About the opportunity Collective Excellence 2028 represents a significant evolution in how the University achieves its ambitions-shifting from multiple plans to one aligned strategy, from dispersed effort to targeted action, and from foundational work to measurable impact. Building on substantial groundwork already completed, this role will drive the next phase: embedding collaboration, elevating collective leadership capability, and creating sustainable forums and channels for joint achievement. As the Executive Program Director, Collective Excellence 2028, you will lead one of the University's most significant transformation agendas, spearheading a strategic portfolio of eight major university-wide initiatives designed to elevate education, research, and institutional performance. This senior leadership role will convene and facilitate cross-institutional collaboration, working through complex stakeholder landscapes to drive collective ownership and accountability for the CE28 portfolio. You will design and lead forums for co-creation, build collective leadership capability across faculties and Portfolios, and establish the governance mechanisms that enable-rather than constrain-collaborative achievement. Description The Research Center on Stability, Instability and Turbulence (SITE) a center of the Research Institute, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work in the fluid mechanics laboratory for experimental fluid dynamics. SITE is inviting applications for fully-funded postdoctoral research associate positions. SITE is highly interdisciplinary and aims to develop novel enabling technology on hydrodynamic stability analysis that has applications in the study of the development of singularities, the long-time behavior of complex systems, the formation of spatial patterns, the transition between stability and instability, and the first steps of transition towards turbulence that appear in several disciplines across science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and innovation. Candidates must hold (or be close to completing) a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Applied Physics or a related field.
