They should have a distinguished and sustained record of conducting high-quality impactful research, as indicated by publications and competitive grants, international recognition for scholarship, capability of leading interdisciplinary projects and proven managerial and leadership skills. In addition, applicants should demonstrate a strong track record of high-quality teaching and a commitment to mentoring the next generation of scholars, researchers, and educators. A track record of research in the Asia-Pacific region will be an advantage but is not essential. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
