This role brings together paid media, web, CRM, content, email, social and other channels to deliver cohesive, high-impact digital journeys aligned to the University’s strategic priorities. You will partner with stakeholders across the University to set strategy and drive execution of data-led, innovative digital marketing initiatives, providing leadership in optimisation, automation and personalisation, building team capability and delivering measurable growth. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include: Lead the development and delivery of an integrated digital marketing strategy across domestic and international audiences, aligned to the University’s priorities and global growth goals. Defining and embedding clear performance frameworks, KPIs and dashboards to measure effectiveness across channels and markets. Testing, adopting and scaling new tools, technologies and approaches (e.g. AI, automation, personalisation, emerging media formats). Overseeing digital marketing compliance with the ESOS Act 2000, National Code 2018 and associated standards, ensuring compliance and audit readiness. Provide strategic and hands-on leadership of marketing automation and personalisation platforms (e.g. Marketo, Adobe Target, Microsoft Dynamics), ensuring they are used to their full capability. About You We are looking for a positive disruptor, a change maker who is not afraid to challenge the status quo and ask, “why don’t we…..”. Someone authentic, who will lead with empathy and integrity as they foster a one-team, cross functional approach to a high performing digital marketing team, setting clear direction accountability and high standards. The ideal person for the role has extensive experience specifically in leading digital marketing in complex, high-consideration environments (e.g. education, financial services, B2B, subscriptions, travel, health), and is naturally curious, data-informed, and customer-centric, with a relentless focus on achieving results. Highly adept at bridging strategy, execution, and optimisation, demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, and advanced problem-solving skills, you will also demonstrate: Exceptional stakeholder engagement, with strong influencing and communication skills to align priorities and deliver impactful outcomes The ability to balance innovative thinking with pragmatic execution to deliver sustainable, high-value outcomes. Experience across performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, CRM integration, paid and social channels and content management systems. Job Description DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE Research Assistant Professor (25260473) The Department presently offers BSc, MSc, MPhil, and PhD programmes, and is now seeking outstanding applicants for the position of Research Assistant Professor. Responsibilities: The position is created and funded as part of the strategic research development initiatives in the Department. The appointee will be provided with a conducive research environment, and will work within an established group of faculty in the Department. He/she is also expected to perform group-based high-impact research and undertake some teaching duties. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated and compassionate multi-disciplinary team at The University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service (USAIS). USAIS is renowned for providing a regional service for severely and profoundly deaf children, young people and adults across the south of England and the Channel Islands. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to life-changing care for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss, supporting them through assessment, implantation, and rehabilitation and beyond. The work includes specialist psychological assessment, formulation and therapy and there are opportunities for individual work, group work, and work with the wider system. Consultation and advice on patient’s psychological care to the wider multi-disciplinary team, as well as liaison with external agencies is an important aspect of the work. You will be a valued and key member of the multi-disciplinary team and have opportunities to shape the Clinical Psychology Service at USAIS. There are opportunities to teach on courses run at the University and with partner charities and organisations, as well as be involved in audit and service development within USAIS. You will also have a key role in the USAIS safeguarding team which provides consultation and support to the wider team. Attendances at conferences and training courses is encouraged and supported for continuing professional development.
