We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to deliver a range of high quality teaching materials and associated student assessment activities, and contribute to the development of modules and programmes, and curriculum changes. You must be a registrant with either the NMC or HCPC, educated to Masters Level (or currently studying) and have significant experience of teaching across either undergraduate or post graduate higher education. Description The Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi is inviting applications for Associate Research Scientist positions in the broad research areas of mathematical analysis and partial differential equations (PDEs). While all applicants with a background in the analysis of PDEs will be considered, candidates with prior experience in theoretical physics, fluid mechanics, kinetic theory, dispersive equations or harmonic analysis will be given special attention. The Research Associates will be appointed for a duration of two years and will work under the supervision of Associate Professor Diogo Arsénio on subjects including: Magnetohydrodynamics and the mathematical theory of plasmas. Collisional kinetic models and their hydrodynamic limits. Dispersive phenomena in kinetic theory. Quantum gases. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in mathematics, physics or a related field. We seek candidates with an outstanding academic record, with at least 3 years of experience. The terms of employment are internationally competitive, and they include housing subsidies, as well as educational support for families. Description The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for a fully funded Associate Research Scientist position in integrated photonics and optoelectronic device development. The successful candidate will contribute to research on silicon photonics and optoelectronic devices based, with applications in optical communications, sensing, and photonic computing. Experience in silicon photonics is required, while expertise in plasmonics, nanophotonics, and 2D materials is a plus. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and have access to state-of-the-art facilities for photonic device design, fabrication, and characterization. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in science or engineering with at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
