We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology: Teaching Assistant (S&T) (Ref: 26000IX) Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Providing assistance in the course planning, development, coordination and delivery (including classroom teaching) in related disciplines at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; Engaging in scholarly activities and student development activities; and Participating in School / University activities and administration. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized honours degree in Computing, Electronic Engineering, Cybersecurity, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Technology and Innovation, Management, STEM, or a related discipline; Competence in teaching / professional experience including programme development and course administration; Strong communication skills and the ability to use English as the medium of instruction; Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; Passionate in student development and training; and Experience in coaching students and leading co-curricular activities will be an advantage. Your personal sphere of influence: The Ries lab is developing super-resolution microscopy methods for structural cell biology and is looking for a PhD student to join the team. The Max Perutz Labs is a joint research institute of the University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna. It was founded in 2005 to deepen the collaboration between the two universities in the field of molecular biosciences. Approximately 450 scientists from over 40 nations work in 40 research groups at the institute, investigating fundamental questions in molecular and cell biology. State-of-the-art research infrastructure supports their work in basic biomedical research.
