You will be responsible for the development of strategies, policies, operating processes, data and information management, performance improvement programmes, business case development, monitoring, benchmarking and reporting on all aspects of space management. You will work closely with departments across the Directorate and wider-University, to ensure space management policies, standards and processes are embedded into all aspects of estate planning, development and operations. You will be the Directorate lead on the University Space Management Group, compromising senior members of staff across Faculties and Services.You will lead the operation of the group and provide support to the designated Chair in the delivery of aims and objectives. You will engage with sector and industry wide networks to identify best practice and opportunities for collaboration, exploring the adoption of innovations in space management to support strategic aims and performance improvement targets. We have an exciting opportunity in our dynamic Estates and Facilities department for a skilled Administrator. This role involves providing professional and detailed support to the department as part of a close-knit and collaborative team. The role In this position you will work in a team, which serves as the single point of contact for all Estates services, playing a key role in ensuring the successful operation of Estates within the University. You will be required to communicate effectively with all Estates personnel, staff at all levels from various departments and Faculties across the University, as well as external visitors and contractors. A key part of the role is working with maintenance managers to ensure records up to date and supporting the department administration. The team operates from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. About you The ideal candidate will have substantial administrative experience and will be proficient in using Microsoft Office programs. While prior HE or Estates and Maintenance experience is advantageous, it is not essential. The ability to prioritize tasks, assess urgency, negotiate, influence, and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders are skills you will develop in this role. About us The King’s Health Partners Clinical Trials Office is a collaboration between King’s College London, Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. It was set up to provide a single interface for those wishing to conduct clinical trials within the partner organisations, and to ensure that there are common, efficient processes for the set up and administration of clinical trials. About the role The post-holder will conduct clinical trial monitoring activities (including the initiation phase, routine phase, and close-out phase) of clinical trials sponsored or co-sponsored by King’s Health Partners (KHP) Partner Organisations: Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The post-holder will ensure adherence to approved protocols and undertake effective source data verification. The post-holder will ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, ICH GCP E6 guidelines, and applicable institutional policies. Working as part of the KHP-CTO Non-Commercial Team, the post-holder will ensure that the sponsor responsibilities (delegated to the KHP-CTO) for clinical oversight, safety reporting, and data integrity; are discharged to the highest standards of quality and compliance. The role This post is part of an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) project, Convergent screen technologies and performance in realtime (CoSTAR). The post will operate within the CoSTAR National Lab led by Royal Holloway University of London with Pinewood Studios, BT, University of Surrey, Abertay University, Disguise, National Film and Television School and Surrey County Council. The role is funded until January 2027, with an extension likely to be granted. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work closely with industry and academic partners within the CoSTAR Network. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in AI for creative industries, while shaping best practices for compute usage and training. Key responsibilities include: Supporting CoSTAR R&D activities including the planning and carrying out of specific activities, often in collaboration with colleagues and partners. Supporting onboarding and troubleshooting activities for CoSTAR AI compute as well as gathering feedback from users. Developing and maintaining key documentation and training materials for the CoSTAR AI Compute infrastructure in collaboration with the wider Surrey Research Computing Services team. Delivering training sessions for CoSTAR compute users both locally and online. Leading and collaborating with the CoSTAR Creative AI team, partner Universities and industry across on joint research, development and integration to develop new tools and technologies.
