Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College

Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College is a public state college in the Philippines, established in 1998 through Republic Act 8547, which converted the former Ilocos Sur Polytechnic College into a state institution.

The college operates as a multi campus institution with six campuses across the province, located in Santa Maria, Narvacan, Santiago, Tagudin, Candon City and Cervantes. Each campus reflects the needs of its local area and has developed its own academic focus within the wider institution.

The Santa Maria Campus serves as the academic core, offering programmes in agriculture, forestry, engineering related fields, education, business and information technology, as well as graduate studies. Its foundations are linked to earlier agricultural training institutions that developed over time into higher education provision.

The Narvacan Campus specialises in fisheries and marine sciences, with programmes in fisheries, aquaculture and post harvest technology, supporting coastal communities and maritime livelihoods. 

The Santiago Campus focuses on industrial technology and applied technical education, including automotive, electrical and electronics technology, food technology and mechatronics.

The Tagudin Campus offers a broad range of programmes such as teacher education, business administration, hospitality management, information technology and social sciences, while also serving as a coordination centre for part of the college system. 

The Candon City Campus focuses on business, tourism, hospitality and information technology in an urban setting, supporting industry linked training.

The Cervantes Campus serves a more remote and mountainous area, offering programmes in education, information technology, criminology and technical vocational teacher education, helping extend access to higher education in isolated communities.
