The Centre for Research and Consultancy (CRC) has been established to promote academic research, Sponsored research and consultancy. Researchers include full time scholars, part time scholars, faculty members, and post graduate and undergraduate students and they collaborate with colleagues across the University. The Centre for Research & Consultancy is headed by Director (Research) and assisted by Dean (Research), Associate Dean (Research) and three Research Coordinators looking after Academic Research, Funded Research, Consultancy respectively and an IPR Coordinator managing IP related issues.

Admission Process & Timelines
- UNDERGRADUATE
HITS takes into consideration students who have passed their Higher Secondary Examination with commendable marks for admission. The University strictly follows the eligibility criteria of UGC norms. Special Admission Programmes HITS recognizes the need for providing educational opportunities for people of widely varying ages and backgrounds. Therefore, special admission programmes are available for potentially successful students from disadvantaged, culturally deprived, or economically impoverished segments of the society. For further details, the Head Ofce can be contacted. Admission to HITS thus, is purely nondiscriminatory. Re-admission Students who were initially enrolled at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science but did not attend the particular semester/term can re-register, provided they left with good conduct and have not enrolled in any other institution after leaving HITS. Such students may be readmitted by submitting a Readmission Form. Students who have been dismissed either from HITS or any other institution will not be readmitted under any circumstances.
- POSTGRADUATE
Students who have passed their Degree Examination with commendable marks are considered for admission. The Institution strictly follows the eligibility criteria of the UGC norms. Admissions for P. G. Programmes are made through entrance test, group discussions and personal interview. Foreign and Non-Resident Indians (NRI) Candidates Candidates should fulfil the following minimum eligibility criteria to seek admission under -Foreign and Non-Resident Indians (NRI) Candidates Category. Admissions are based on the candidates' performance in the 10 + 2 or equivalent examination and satisfying the guidelines of respective councils governing the engineering and architecture education. The admission procedures, application form and fees are different from the domestic students.

Description The Micro- and Nanoscale Bioengineering Lab (MNBL) at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking to recruit a research assistant to study various human diseases using an organ/organoid-on-a-chip approach. Applicants with a strong background in designing and fabricating microfluidic devices and cell culture are encouraged to apply. Research in the MNBL focuses on designing and fabricating microphysiological systems to study various diseases affecting multiple human organs in vitro. Our project involves collaborations with the faculty of Bioengineering and Biology at NYUAD. Responsibilities of the position include growing cells in organ-on-a-chip microfluidic devices, characterizing them using downstream analysis such as bioimaging and omics analysis, and testing new potential drugs on these cells. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment comprising PhD-level scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate students, thereby acquiring valuable skills in writing manuscripts and establishing collaborations across disciplines. Applicants must hold a B.S. degree in the engineering field. They must also have excellent cell biology expertise; multi-year experience of handling cells with microfluidic devices is essential. Description The newly established NYUAD Wireless Research Center at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Research Scientist (RS) to lead the experimental development of cognitive omni-band wireless systems for 6G and beyond. The successful candidate will be jointly supervised by Mahmoud Rasras and Murat Uysal and will work in close collaboration with other researchers at both the New York and Abu Dhabi campuses. Principal Responsibilities The RS will design, implement, and validate custom optical wireless communication (OWC) testbeds operating at visible light (VL) and infrared (IR) wavelengths. The RS will serve as a system architect for the omni-band wireless testbed, overseeing the development of RF testbeds for sub-6 GHz, cmWave, mmWave, and THz bands, and ensuring seamless integration with OWC testbeds to enable omni-band experimentatio The RS is expected to disseminate results through publications in high-impact journals and presentations at leading international conferences. The RS is expected to contribute to intellectual property development through patent filings and participate in international standardization efforts relevant to wireless technologies in coordination with academic and industrial collaborators. The RS will represent NYUAD Wireless at major academic, industry, and policy-oriented events and contribute to strengthening its visibility and engagement with global research and innovation ecosystems. Qualifications Applicants must hold a PhD degree in electrical/electronics engineering, telecommunications or related field.
