We are launching the LU Presidential Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Scheme (PPRF) and invite applications from early career researchers from all over the world. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with our academics in a supportive and dynamic research environment. The University will provide them with the resources, expertise, and mentorship to achieve their research goals. Eligibility Applicants should have obtained / been conferred a PhD degree or an equivalent qualification, and the PhD degree should have been received no more than three years prior to the start of the Fellowship. They are expected to have a good research track record and demonstrate good potential in publishing high quality papers. Duration and Requirements of the Fellowship The duration of the Fellowship will normally be three years. The appointment will normally be made on an initial contract of 1 year, and further appointment for a period of 2 years is subject to the appointee’s satisfactory performance. The appointees are required to submit applications for the RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme (JRFS) or the JC STEM Early Career Research Fellowship for Translation and Application (JC STEM ECRF), and are encouraged to apply for other local / overseas grants or fellowship schemes. Terms and Benefits The conditions of appointment will be competitive. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointees. The appointees will also be provided with research funding of HK$10,000 per year to support their research activities. About Us ​​The Digital Health Hub Training Manager will play a key leadership role within the EPSRC-funded King’s Health Partners Digital Health Hub (KHP DHH), contributing to the professional services leadership of the Hub’s training arm. The role supports the delivery of skills development for individuals working at the healthcare-industry interface, fostering collaboration between digital innovators and the healthcare workforce to address real-world challenges in digital health. Sitting within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, the Training Manager will work closely with colleagues across the Hub’s core pillars (Training, Co-design, Translation, and Acceleration) to ensure impactful and integrated training delivery aligned with the Hub’s overarching goals.  ​​About the role This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the professional services leadership of our EPSRC-funded King’s Health Partners Digital Health Hub (KHP DHH) as the Training Manager.  The training component of this Hub focuses on identifying and delivering the skills needed to train problem solvers who address real-life challenges at the healthcare–industry interface. The goal is to support the development of proactive individuals who can use relevant data and technologies to tackle real problems in digital health. Digital innovators and the healthcare workforce work together in a multi-disciplinary environment to develop safe and scalable solutions. The training arm of the Hub works collaboratively with the other Hub arms, including AI training, co-design strategies, entrepreneurship, industrial partner engagement, Patient and Public Involvement & Engagement (PPIE), digital health innovation, and the research pilots embedded in the Hub. The four core pillars are Training, Co-design, Translation & Acceleration.  Organised and delivery-focused, you will join an established team and bring experience in gathering, interpreting, and presenting data to demonstrate impact. Experience of matrix working would be beneficial, as the programme facilitates collaborative efforts to identify and overcome barriers to effective integration and translation across disciplines. You will work closely with subject matter experts and the learning technologist to maintain and enhance existing asynchronous training resources, as well as create new engaging materials for a range of audiences in digital health. The role also supports the delivery of in-person training, from advertising and bursary coordination to post-course feedback collection.  The successful candidate will collaborate with the learning technologist to understand the learning objectives of course participants and engage with supporters, patients, and the public in workshops led by participants. These workshops provide opportunities to share learning experiences and offer feedback on the structure and content of the taught material.  Onsite working will be required for effective collaboration across the Digital Health Hub, with the expectation that the successful candidate will work onsite at least three days per week.  This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered ​a fixed term​ contract until 31.03.27. About the role: We are looking to appoint a Programme Manager to join Dr Heathcote’s team within the Health Psychology Group, Department of Psychology at King’s College London. We are seeking a proactive and organized Programme / Lab Manager to oversee the administrative and operational aspects of a 5-year Wellcome Trust funded research programme entitled ‘When your body betrays you: interoceptive mechanisms of anxiety after cancer’. This is an interdisciplinary research programme cutting across psychology, neuroscience, and patient-clinician communication. This dynamic role involves managing budgets, contracts, and collaborations across leading institutions (KCL, UCL, and Stanford), supporting clinical trial-related activities of novel digital mind-body therapies, and facilitating research dissemination through publications and science communication. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Principal Investigator and lab members, coordinating meetings, onboarding new staff, and fostering a positive and inclusive research culture. This role will require in-person attendance at Guy’s Hospital for at least two days per week on Mondays and Tuesdays. The additional 0.5 days can be worked either on Wednesdays or Thursdays and be worked flexibly, including at Guy’s or from home. The Health Psychology Section at King’s College London has played a pivotal role in advancing Health Psychology in the UK and continues to drive impactful research in long-term condition management and intervention development. Job Purpose At SIT's Professional Officers Division, we bring our rich industry experience and technical skills into our work, creating a better physical environment where learning and innovation take place. We work with teaching programmes and innovation projects to improve the skills of our students and to strengthen & energise our industry and the wider community. A Professional Officer has a combination of job responsibilities relating to the following: participate in and manage innovation projects, manage digital technology related resources, and mentor & facilitate student learning. The Centre for Digital Enablement (CoDE) drives the initiatives to elevate digital competencies for academic staff and students within SIT. It works with various stakeholders, both internal and external, in upskilling digital literacy across the organization through literacy programmes and digital innovation projects in relation to the Digital Learning Spaces (DLS). For this role, you will spearhead the various cybersecurity enablement programmes in SIT, manage the cybersecurity related resources and initiatives within CoDE, and lead cybersecurity projects within SIT and with industry partners to support teaching and learning objectives. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering digital literacy courses to undergraduate students and academic staff as part of the institutional drive to ensure our graduates are ready for a highly digitally-enabled workforce. Additionally, you’ll be required to mentor and facilitate student learning by participating in and managing student projects. Key Responsibilities Cybersecurity Enablement Programmes Develop and own the Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap, providing guidance for SIT undergraduate students and academic staff in developing their cybersecurity competencies. Lead and oversee a range of cybersecurity enablement programmes to facilitate the growth of information security skills among SIT undergraduate students and academic staff. Job Requirements A good degree in Computer Science or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous. 10+ years of working experience, including at least 5 in cybersecurity related fields. Proven experience in developing and deploying secure enterprise software solutions. Good programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Possess strong supervisory and project management skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure that the project can meet the milestones adhering to the stipulated timeline.
