GLA University is located in the Mathura area of India. It was established in 1991 when businessman Shri Narayan Das Agrawal decided to fulfil the dream of his late father of establishing a quality institute for education to citizens of Mathura and beyond.
The university is spread across 110 acres, and is home to a range of facilities from laboratories and classrooms to sporting and recreational facilities. The campus has dedicated spaces for football, cricket, hockey, badminton, and all major outdoor games.
Offering a broad range of degree programmes, the university has nine institutes and 13 departments including: engineering, pharmacy, business, education, agricultural sciences, and physical education. Degree programmes can be taken at an undergraduate, graduate, doctorate and diploma level.
There are many opportunities for students to develop their skills outside of the classroom with events such as TEDxGLAU, an initiative that began in 2016, as well as the National Cadet Corps.
