Job Description FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES ACADEMY OF WELLNESS AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT Part-time Fieldwork Supervisor in Social Work / Part-time Practicum Supervisor in Social Work (24250153) The Academy invites applications for part-time supervisory roles to mentor and support our students in their professional and practical development. Position 1: Part-time Fieldwork Supervisor in Social Work The appointee is expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate social work students in their fieldwork placements and assist in skills training, and group tutoring for Bachelor of Social Work & Master of Social Sciences in Social Work Programmes. Requirements: A relevant master's degree in Social Work or related discipline; Registered Social Workers (RSW) in Hong Kong; Possess at least five years of post-degree professional experience; Experience in teaching or supervising fieldwork placements, particularly in areas such as elderly care, rehabilitation and family services; and Good proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English. Position 2: Part-time Practicum Supervisor in Social Work The appointee is expected to supervise postgraduate counselling students during their practicum placements and assist in skills training, and group tutoring specifically tailored to counselling practice. Appointees may need to work in Mainland settings and travel to Mainland China occasionally. Requirements: A relevant master's degree in Counselling or related discipline; Possess at least five years of post-degree professional practice in counselling; Teaching or practicum supervision experience is essential; and Good proficiency in spoken and written Chinese (including Putonghua/Mandarin) and English. Applications are invited at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, based on the candidate’s experience and academic record. Essential Qualifications Medical degree. Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Endocrinology or a relevant field. Specialty certification in Endocrinology (Board Certification or equivalent) and relevant clinical experience. Eligibility for full, unrestricted medical licensure in Greece, permitting independent practice of Endocrinology. Proven record of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching relevant to the subject area. Research portfolio and publication record commensurate with the rank sought. Excellent command of Greek and English. Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their specialty across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme, from pre-clinical courses to clinical rotations, as well as in postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Endocrinology, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Job Description FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES OFFICE OF DEAN OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant (25260534) The Office of Dean of Arts and Social Sciences would like to seek proactive and self-driven applicants for the position of Senior Research Assistant or Research Assistant to support research projects that encompass ethnic minorities, older adults, and students in Hong Kong. Responsibilities: Assist in data collection and management of ongoing research projects, including conducting surveys, interviews, and focus groups with students and stakeholders; Conduct literature reviews and contribute to data analysis, including statistical analysis using SPSS; Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to support project planning, implementation and evaluation; Liaise with schools, NGOs, community organisations, and other stakeholders to facilitate cross-sector collaboration; Engage with South Asian community members to ensure culturally sensitive and effective project delivery; Perform administrative and project management tasks as required; and  Undertake other duties as assigned by the Dean or his delegates. Partner and Business Development Develop and manage relationships with industry, community, and government partners. Administrative and Operational Duties Oversee daily operations of the Design Factory, including facilities, safety, and scheduling. Strategic Planning and Execution Contribute to strategic planning and long-term development of the Design Factory. Identify opportunities for programme growth in human-centred design, circular innovation, and applied R&D. Support institutional goals through cross-cluster collaboration and innovation leadership. Job Requirements Degree in Design, Human Factors, Industrial Design, Engineering, Innovation Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in user-centred design, innovation consulting, or R&D. Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement within an academic or industry context. Familiarity with design research methods, prototyping, and applied learning environments. Prior experience managing facilities, partnerships, or interdisciplinary teams is an advantage.
