Excelia is a French private institution of higher education founded in 1988. The historical campus of Excelia Group is located in La Rochelle, while its other two other campuses are located in Tours and Orleans.

In addition to this, the institution also offers programmes in Niort, Roche Fort, Angouleme and Cognac. It has overseas associate campuses in New York and Beijing.

Excelia offers undergraduate and graduate degrees through its Business School, Digital School Tourism School, and the Excelia Academy. The courses are taught in both English and French.

Your personal sphere of play: The research team of Prof Kristina Djinovic-Carugo at the University of Vienna seeks an experienced and highly motivated Postdoc in the area of structural biology. In cooperation with the research groups of Michael Wagner and Holger Daims the Djinovic Lab is involved in studies of physiology, structural biology, biochemistry, and ecology of nitrifying microorganisms with focus on complete ammonia oxidizers (comammox organisms). We are a committed team and offer an interdisciplinary scientific environment, cutting-edge laboratories, and a creative working atmosphere. We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Postdoc in the field of structural biology and biochemistry. This position is limited to a duration of 9 months. Following this, there is an option for employment through a third-party funded project until a maximum of September 30, 2028.  About the Max Perutz Labs The Max Perutz Labs are a joint research institute of the University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna. They were founded in 2005 to deepen the collaboration between the two universities in the field of molecular biosciences. Around 450 scientists from over 40 nations work in 40 research groups at the institute, investigating fundamental questions in molecular and cell biology. This is part of your personality: Doctoral or PhD degree (Biology, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Biochemistry, or similar) Experience working with a plethora of bioinformatics tools dealing with sequence and structure analysis. Description We are inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in the Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi from individuals who have or will soon receive a PhD in Economics focusing on firm dynamics, structural transformation, economic growth, spatial economics. The appointment is for 3 years and will begin September 1, 2026, subject to final budget approval and UAE visa acquisition by the prospective post-doctoral candidate. The post-doctoral associate will spend half their time on independent research, and half their time on collaborative research with Professor Zheng Wang, Professor Samreen Malik, Professor Raul Santaeulalia-Llopis and Professor Wisam Alshaibi. The collaborative research will be on projects related to economic growth, structural transformation, and firm-level supply chains/business network formation in low-income countries (possibly, in conflict affected areas, CAF). We seek a candidate with expertise in both empirical and theoretical economics and strong coding skills. The role will involve designing surveys, working with existing datasets, and applying models of firm dynamics in settings of structural transformation and economic growth. We are interested in identifying spillovers of policy in this context, hence the emphasis in firm-level supply chains/business network formation and/or spatial economics. The position does not require teaching, but it may be possible to get teaching experience for compensation. Current research directions include: Reversible material representation methods for accelerated inverse design Large language, diffusion & graph neural models for materials discovery Fine tuning and architecture optimisation of foundation models Inverse design of next generation functional materials (e.g. energy, sustainability) The group partners closely with leading institutes in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and worldwide, offering an exciting, collaborative research environment. The appointee will work as part of the team. This involves (1) conducting independent and collaborative research leading to publications in top tier journals and conferences; (2) contributing to grant proposal writing and collaborative projects; and (3) mentoring junior researchers and assisting with laboratory management. Job Purpose At SIT's Professional Officers Division, we bring our rich industry experience and technical skills into our work, creating a better physical environment where learning and innovation take place. A Professional Officer has a combination of job responsibilities relating to the following: participate in and manage innovation projects, manage digital technology related resources, and mentor & facilitate student learning. The Centre for Digital Enablement (CoDE) drives the initiatives to elevate digital competencies for academic staff and students within SIT. It works with various stakeholders, both internal and external, in upskilling digital literacy across the organization through literacy programmes and digital innovation projects in relation to the Digital Learning Spaces (DLS). For this role, you will spearhead the various cybersecurity enablement programmes in SIT, manage the cybersecurity related resources and initiatives within CoDE, and lead cybersecurity projects within SIT and with industry partners to support teaching and learning objectives. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering digital literacy courses to undergraduate students and academic staff as part of the institutional drive to ensure our graduates are ready for a highly digitally-enabled workforce. Additionally, you’ll be required to mentor and facilitate student learning by participating in and managing student projects. Key Responsibilities Cybersecurity Enablement Programmes Develop and own the Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap, providing guidance for SIT undergraduate students and academic staff in developing their cybersecurity competencies. Lead and oversee a range of cybersecurity enablement programmes to facilitate the growth of information security skills among SIT undergraduate students and academic staff. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cybersecurity, ensuring the continued relevancy and currency of the enablement programmes and Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap. Cybersecurity Projects Drive the adoption of sound information security practices across all CoDE projects. Collaborate with industry partners, faculty, Professional Officers and other stakeholders to conduct applied research in cybersecurity related technologies. Teaching & Student Mentorship Develop and deliver digital skills literacy related courses or workshops to undergraduate students and staff. This includes development of learning contents and activities, providing consultations on digital skills/technology related queries, and assessment and grading of students’ work. Job Requirements A good degree in Computer Science or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous. 10+ years of working experience, including at least 5 in cybersecurity related fields. Proven experience in developing and deploying secure enterprise software solutions. Good programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Possess strong supervisory and project management skills. Job Purpose The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses a centralized pool of academic staff under the Professional Officers scheme. Professional Officers come with specialised and deep technical skills acquired through extensive industry experience. They form the talent pool which brings a much-needed industry perspective to student learning. They facilitate applied learning and applied research in SIT, complementing the academic expertise of the faculty to bring industry practices and applications into the curriculum. Professional Officers leverage on their industry experiences to create authentic learning environments, where discovery and innovation take place. They act as coaches and mentors to students during practical learning activities such as laboratory sessions, Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Professional Officers could also lead or work with faculty on industry innovation projects to provide solutions to the industry. In addition to their role in applied learning and applied research, Professional Officers manage the centralised laboratory facilities and resources in SIT. With Technical Officers, laboratory safety professionals, and administrators in POD, they jointly develop central policies and processes for the safe and seamless operation of laboratories in SIT. Key Responsibilities Design and teach labs & practice modules. Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry. Manage labs and equipment to support academic programmes and applied research. Ensure safety in labs. Job Requirements A good degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous. Deep technical specialist with 10 or more years of working experience in Automation, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, or related areas in development would be preferred. Experience in following areas is highly desirable: Hands-on experience in electronics/electrical. Programming of Microcontrollers and embedded systems. Working knowledge of programming languages such ROS/ROS2, Python, C/C++ Programming, Knowledge of subjects such as computer vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Kinematics and dynamics. Autonomous systems, Robotics and Automation. Industry 4.0 and Internet-of-Things. Keen interest in innovation projects, with demonstrated ability in developing solutions to technical problems.
