An exciting opportunity to work as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate has arisen as part of a collaboration project between Moulton Bulb Company Ltd and Cranfield University. The project will focus to transform industry understanding of fungal contamination caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cepae. About the Role Your role will be to lead on a project whose objective is to reduce waste in the supply chain. This will be done by working with and implementing data collection, data-driven trials and analysis strategies. You will embed new knowledge and expertise that will transform industry understanding of fungal contamination caused by Fusarium, reducing onion losses from field to market. About You This role requires skills of data acquisition, management and statistical analysis within the food supply chain. Knowledge of food microbiology and postharvest would also be desirable in this role. This role would suit an individual with an excellent ability to implement new solutions in a dynamic evolving food system environment. We’re expanding our Clinical Psychology Doctoral training provision and are excited to invite new academics to join our dynamic Clinical and Health Psychology Research Team. We’re looking for early career and established researchers with a profile in cutting-edge clinical, mental, or physical health psychology. We will be seeking individuals with a clear vision of their research career and, if further on in their career, we will be looking for a proven ability to secure funding that drives real-world change for individuals, families, organisations, or communities. Working in alignment with the University's research strategy, the appointee will undertake innovative, high-impact research in bionanotechnology and regenerative medicine. This nationally recognised program aims to advance fundamental understanding and translational applications within the discipline. Funded by the Australian Research Council Discovery Project, "Understanding Transient Cellular Response to Electrical Stimulation (DP250101190)," the role will focus on developing cutting-edge methodologies to investigate live cell responses to electrical stimulation with high spatial and temporal resolution. The Research Fellow will design and implement advanced bioinformatics pipelines to interrogate stem cell biology using multi-omics approaches, including RNA sequencing, proteomics, and secretomics datasets. Responsibilities include integrative analysis of complex molecular data, interpretation of cellular response mechanisms, and close collaboration with experimental researchers to uncover pathways regulating stem cell function and fate. The successful candidate will be supported to build an independent research profile through structured mentorship in competitive grant writing and opportunities to contribute to, and lead, fellowship and project applications. They will play a key role in planning and delivering high-quality research projects, establishing productive research networks within RMIT and with local and national partners, and producing impactful research outputs that strengthen the School's research excellence and reputation.
