Mission-Driven Academic Structure
Committed to national development and societal progress, EIT emphasizes fundamental research, interdisciplinary exploration, and technological innovation. Our mission is to cultivate outstanding innovators, advance knowledge for sustainable growth, achieve globally significant research outcomes, and translate discoveries into real-world impact.
The university is building an integrated academic system with strengths in science, engineering, information technology, and business, enriched by distinctive humanities and social sciences.
World-Class Faculty, Global Impact
EIT has assembled a distinguished faculty of 110 Principal Investigators, including 16 academicians, 67 national-level talents, and 24 fellows of international societies. More than 94.5% of faculty possess substantial overseas experience, contributing to a global intellectual environment.
This team has driven remarkable research impact, having published over 1800 papers in top-tier journals such as Science and Nature and securing over 3.45 billion RMB in competitive research funding. EIT is an approved host institution for China’s National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC), having received 73 NSFC grants in the past three years.
Talent Cultivation from the Ground Up
In line with future-focused development goals, EIT implements an innovative educational model centered on high-quality undergraduate training.
