Established in 1998, Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology is part of the Dr DY Patil Group of more than 150 educational institutions, founded by its namesake in 1983. The Institute of Technology is one of the oldest and best-known universities in the group, situated 15km from the Maharashtran city of Pune, roughly 130km from Mumbai.
The Institute educates more than 6,000 students. The university offers 18 undergraduate degrees across seven schools: architecture; design; engineering and technology; hospitality and tourism studies; law; management; and pharmacy. The Institute reports that 100 per cent of students receive internship offers, with organisations such as Amazon.in, Infosys and Hyundai.
The Institute’s campus is large, verdant and tree-filled. It includes a multi-sports stadium and sports café, as well as smart libraries, studios, labs and amphitheatres. 
Male and female students are housed in separate hostels, which include a newly constructed building for more than 700 students. Two other buildings house 300 students each. These hostels provide a dining hall, a common room, medical facilities and a gym. 
Campus clubs, run by students for students, cater to a range of interests. They include photography club, singing and dancing club, film and theatre club, and book-reading and storytelling club.

Your position:

The Department of History of Christianity and Protestantism in Austria is a sub-unit of the Faculty of Protestant Theology. The vacant position as university assistant (praedoc) serves to strengthen our teaching and research portfolio. We are looking for historically oriented Protestant theologians with a special interest in research questions from the period of Late Antiquity and a willingness to contribute to the editing of articles for the Zeitschrift für Antikes Christentum, preferably documented by an excellent Master's thesis in the field of church history.

Your future tasks:

You will play an active role in research, teaching and administration, i.e:


	You will be involved in research projects and publications on early church history.
	You will work on and complete your dissertation in Church History. We expect you to finalise your dissertation agreement within 6-12 months, and present your research question at national and international conferences.
	You will contribute to the redaction process of articles for the Zeitschrift für Antikes Christentum.
	You will participate in doctoral seminars organised by the Institute and in events of the Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion.
	You will hold independent lectures in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement on topics relating to church history


This is part of your personality:


	Completed Master's degree in Protestant Theology or a corresponding teacher training programme with excellent grades in church history courses (the degree certificate must be available by the date of employment at the latest) or a comparable study programme
	A keen interest in early church history, a willingness to attend and organise national and international conferences and to work in a team, and good IT user skills
	Very good knowledge of ancient Greek and Latin as well as German and English
	High interest in interdisciplinary exchange with neighbouring disciplines (history, philology, etc.)
	Knowledge of the provisions of the collective agreement, namely on church history topics.

About the Job

As a People Systems Specialist (Analyst) you’ll be a key contributor to the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of system and process solutions that comply with UK legislation, meet business requirements and align to an overarching Digital First strategy. Day-to-day, you’ll lead on ensuring our P&C, Learning and Engagement systems work effectively and collaborate with key teams like Payroll, IT and external suppliers to maintain and improve system functionality for our people. We’ll also rely on you to act as a subject matter expert for MHR iTrent, our HRIS, including configuration, APIs and data mapping, workflows, access management, bug fixes and query resolution. Providing advice and guidance on the best practice use of the MHR iTrent and identifying solutions to any problem that arise will be an important aspect of the role too. And, when it comes to overseeing data entry, cleansing, import and export using system tools and data reconciliation to ensure all data held is accurate and up-to-date, again, we’ll count on you.

About You

You'll have proven relevant MHR iTrent experience, an expert understanding of transactional HR and Payroll processes, strong analytical and business process knowledge and attention to detail. You'll also need to demonstrate an ability to work cross functionally/divisionally with other teams and deliver on continuous improvement projects within an agreed timeframe. If you have automation and system configuration system integration (APIs) experience and/or familiarity with of system implementations and data migration projects, even better, although these aren’t must haves.

The Vienna Doctoral School in Physics is home to 180 doctoral candidates in Physics at the University of Vienna who work at the forefront of science and receive training, mentoring and support to become independent researchers and to connect with the scientific community.

Your personal sphere of influence:

The Vienna Doctoral School in Physics offers up to nine 3-months PhD Completion Contracts for fellows of the Doctoral School who have held a position as University Assistant (praedoc) or as PhD project staff at the University of Vienna before. These Completion Contracts aim to support highly qualified fellows in the final phase of their doctoral studies. The recipients will be employed as University Assistants (praedoc) and will work at the Faculty of Physics. The start of the contracts is possible from 01 October 2026 onwards - the Fellowship must be completed within the year 2026.

Your future tasks:


	You actively participate in research, teaching & administration at the Faculty of Physics.
	Your main task is to complete and to submit your dissertation.
	You meet and consult with your supervisor(s) on a regular basis in order to prioritize your tasks and get the necessary support to complete your dissertation successfully in time.
	You actively seek support (workshops, training, coaching etc.) if necessary.
	You contribute to the organizational and administrative tasks of the Faculty of Physics e.g. supervision of students, organization of courses and holding examinations in accordance with the assignment.

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in the purification of acidic and aqueous media, impurity separation, and materials characterization to join a cutting-edge research team. The project focuses on developing sustainable and optimized processes for the purification of industrial acidic and complex aqueous media through the selective removal and recovery of impurities to enable higher-purity acid products, impurity valorization, and more sustainable industrial processing.

The successful candidate will work on:


	Developing and optimizing selective purification and impurity-recovery strategies for acidic and aqueous media, including selection of reagents, precipitation agents, functionalized materials, ion-exchange resins, staged separation, and selectivity and yield optimization in multi-impurity systems.
	Reactor design and scale-up from batch to prototype, including process integration and mass transfer optimization under corrosive conditions.
	Investigating material stability, impurity control, and competing-species effects in highly acidic and complex matrices.
	Comprehensive use of characterization and quantification tools, including XRD, FTIR, and ICP for phase identification and major- and trace-level impurity quantification in acid and aqueous feeds and purified products.
	Contributing to collaborative proposals and Preparation of high-impact publications.


Position Requirements: 


	PhD in Environmental Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering with a focus on separation, purification, or resource recovery.
	Proven proficiency in advanced characterization of complex materials and multi-component solutions.
	Practical knowledge of structural and spectroscopic techniques for material and solution analysis (FTIR, XRD, SEM/EDS, ICP, HPLC).

University College Birmingham is seeking to appoint up to 5 Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to support the delivery of Transnational Education (TNE) programmes delivered in partnership with international institutions.

This role focuses on the planning, delivery and assessment of contextualised academic English provision for international students studying on UCB‑validated programmes overseas. The postholder will support students in developing the academic language and study skills required for successful progression into English‑medium higher education, ensuring consistency of standards and alignment with University expectations.

The post is offered on a permanent, fractional basis, equivalent to 0.66 FTE, and includes allocated time for teaching, preparation, assessment and marking activity in support of TNE delivery.

We are looking for committed and experienced EAP practitioners who have:
