Over the years, our faculty members have been the recipients of the University’s Research Excellence Award and Teaching Excellence Award. The Department offers undergraduate teaching in Sociology, Social and Public Policy, and Health and Social Services Management, while hosting an MSocSc Programme in Comparative Social Policy (International) (IMCSP). The School's gallery, Tin Sheds, has an annual program featuring creative work that sits at the intersection between art and architecture practice. We seek to appoint a Lecturer - Art in Architecture and Design Practice (Education Focused), whose work sits at the intersection of contemporary architecture and artistic practice and who has an outstanding record of practice in this area. This role will involve teaching and research that engages in innovative, contemporary modes of making, with a willingness to explore the interface between digital and analogue forms of creative practice. The role involves academic leadership within art and architecture and design education, as well as undertaking research and service within the school and university.
