Job Description SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, MARKETING AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS Senior Lecturer / Lecturer I / Lecturer II (Information Systems) (25260706) The Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems invites dynamic and experienced professionals to apply for a position at the rank of Senior Lecturer or Lecturer I/II within our Information Systems and Business Intelligence team. We are seeking individuals with strong technical expertise and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will contribute to our growing programmes through innovative instruction, curriculum development, and enhancing students’ technical capabilities. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality teaching and student engagement at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; Develop and teach courses in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, E-Business, Data Management, Management Information Systems, and Python programming; and Contribute to curriculum development and innovation in the field of the application of AI in business. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with a doctoral degree in MIS or Computer Science, who can help integrate technical know-how and academic knowledge with practical industry applications. The position will be located at the Kowloon Tong campus and will be primarily responsible for teaching and assisting in programme management and development. An initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years commencing September 2026 or the earliest available date. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Description We are inviting applications for a Post-doctoral Associate in the Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi from individuals who have or will soon receive a PhD in Economics with fields of research in Macroeconomics or Computational Social Science. The appointment is for 2 years and will begin September 1, 2026, subject to final budget approval and visa acquisition by the prospective postdoc candidate. The post-doctoral associate will spend half their time on independent research, and half their time on collaborative research with Professors Alaïs Martin-Baillon, Jordan Norris, and Samreen Malik. The collaborative research will be on macroeconomic expectations, with a focus on firms and the role of networks. An ideal candidate may have experience with surveys and have expertise in computational economics. The position does not require teaching, but it may be possible to get teaching experience for compensation. You will also supervise students undertaking psychology placement within FedCare Psychology Services and contribute to the Institutes administrative functions. You will: provide leadership in developing, teaching, coordinating, and moderating units in psychology; undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students; supervise students undertaking project units, honours courses and research higher degrees; and supervise students undertaking psychology placements within FedCare Psychology Services. You will possess proven educational, research and professional experience and seek to embed long and short-term research strategies for the institute within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission.
