The City College of San Fernando Pampanga was founded in 2008 by the City Government of San Fernando as part of its commitment to provide affordable and accessible higher education for the youth of San Fernando. Starting with an initial fund of five million pesos, the college began offering its first academic programmes in borrowed facilities before moving to its own dedicated campus in the second semester of the 2012–2013 academic year.
Located in San Fernando, the provincial capital of Pampanga on the northern shore of Manila Bay, the college enjoys a central position near landmarks like Heroes Hall and the City Civic Center Extension.
The college is organised into four institutes: Institute of Business Administration, Institute of Information Technology, Institute of Accounting Information System, and the Institute of Education. Each institute is divided into different departments which offer a range of degree programmes at both undergraduate and graduate level.
Collaborations with the Philippine Normal University, SEAMEO INNOTECH and IBM SkillsBuild support both student and faculty development, whilst industry partners like Luen Thai provide internships and curriculum input.
