The School/Department The School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP) was established in 2023 to bring together expertise from Medicine and Psychology to develop a unique educational and research environment. The role This post is part of an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) project, Convergent screen technologies and performance in realtime (CoSTAR). The post will operate within the CoSTAR National Lab led by Royal Holloway University of London with Pinewood Studios, BT, University of Surrey, Abertay University, Disguise, National Film and Television School and Surrey County Council. The role is funded until January 2027, with an extension likely to be granted. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work closely with industry and academic partners within the CoSTAR Network. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in AI for creative industries, while shaping best practices for compute usage and training. Key responsibilities include: Supporting CoSTAR R&D activities including the planning and carrying out of specific activities, often in collaboration with colleagues and partners.
