Central European University (CEU) is an English-language university based in Vienna with around 1,500 students from more than 100 countries pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees accredited in both the United States and Austria.
CEU offers degrees in a wide-range of subjects including cognitive science, economics and business, environmental sciences and policy, gender studies, history, international relations, law, network and data science, philosophy, political science, public policy, sociology and social anthropology.
Located in the heart of Vienna, students can enjoy historical, cultural, and social diversity within a thriving capital.
There are 200 faculty members and researchers in Vienna as well as at the Budapest site.
The CEU library has a large collection particularly in the fields of social sciences and humanities. The library contains more than 255,000 documents in various formats and includes access to a range of academic databases.
Annual events include a sports day, an international cultural festival, an ice skating party, and a spring ball, along with a variety of workshops and talks.
