Breda University of Applied Sciences is located in Breda in the Netherlands and was first established in 1966. The student body is made up of students from across the Netherlands and across the globe, with students from over 100 countries studying there. Courses are offered from bachelor’s to master’s level in a variety of programmes, across nine main departments: built environment; facilities; games; hotel management; leisure and events; logistics; media; tourism and artificial intelligence and data management. The courses across these departments range from tourism management to game technology and creative business. The university provides work placements, professional training and collaborations with businesses for students. Built environment students will undertake work placements in the sector of their choice in both their third and fourth year as part of a graduation project. Most third or fourth year students in any of Breda’s programmes will undertake a work placement to complete their graduation project, with lengths varying from 18-40 weeks. The new campus has an area called Innovation Square, where students, researchers and professionals can create, develop and research their ideas. There are meeting facilities, brainstorming sessions and flexible workspaces for students to make their ideas a reality. Several large companies use the Innovation Square, including Logistic Workx, NEXT and Sassybot, allowing students to meet and network with industry professionals.

The Department of German Studies at the University of Vienna is the largest research and teaching center in Austria, covering the fields of German language and German-language literatures. The core areas are Modern German Literature, Medieval German Language and Literature, Germanic Linguistics, German as a Foreign and Second Language, and German Teaching Methodology. Your personal sphere of play: The position advertised here, is within the field of German as a Second Language. The work-group German as a Second Language (Deutsch als Zweitsprache) is led by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Inci Dirim. Here you can expect a small, dedicated team with a friendly work environment. The primary focus of the position is to support the "The speech action of multilingually socialized children in the institution of kindergarten" project in which the colleage being replaced is working. This involves processing oral language data from children and adults who speak German and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, and Slovak. Therefore, a high knowledge of these languages is desirable. The position offers the opportunity to gain research experience in this area. Furthermore, you are expected to support ongoing activities within the department, such as organizing examinations. Shoud the positon be extended, you would also be expected to undertake some teaching. Last but not least, you will be expected to participate in team activities such as joint meetings. The advertised position is for maternity leave cover until 30.06.2026 with the option of extension. Job description: The IsoTrace team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postodoctoral Scientist with advanced expertise in isotope-enabled ecohydrological modeling. We are looking for an early career scientist who is passionate about unraveling the intricate connections between water resources, ecosystems, and climate dynamics. This cutting-edge postdoctoral research opportunity in Morocco will spearhead groundbreaking research at the intersection of isotopes, ecohydrology, and modeling mainly in the continuum water-soil-plant-atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Develop and calibrate isotopic tracers to understand water sources, transport processes, and ecosystem interactions. Integrate isotopic data with ecohydrological models to assess the resilience of Moroccan water systems under changing environmental conditions. Play an active role in supervising and providing guidance to PhD students who are actively involved in ecohydrological modeling research. Conduct laboratory analyses and field work. Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled post-doc in in Chemistry, Materials Science or related fields to join our research team as postdoctoral researcher at the MAScIR foundation program at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Benguerir, Morocco. The candidate will play a vital role in advancing research related to the development of new NP, PK and NPK fertilizer formulas. The overall objective will be to develop highly efficient fertilizer formulas based on triple superphosphate as the mineral fraction; As a successful candidate you will be actively involved in various research activities including laboratory and field experiments. Key Responsibilities Develop and formulate new simple and complex fertilizer formulas. Characterize produced fertilizer formulas using various physicochemical and analytical tools such as spectroscopy, microscopy, porosity analysis, to assess structure-property relationships. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of developed fertilizer formulas in laboratory and greenhouse settings to assess their effectiveness. Communicate to the research project team the development, progress, and results of research activities. Prepare research reports, scientific publications, and patent applications to communicate results and contribute to project deliverables.  Qualifications Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field with a with hands-on fertilizer manufacturing process and formulation. Experience in designing and characterizing simple and complex fertilizers Good knowledge of technics used to evaluate the physicochemical properties of fertilizers and to assess their physical quality. Ability to analyze the chemical composition of raw materials and finished products. Skills in planning, conducting, and analyzing experimental research. Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication skills, including the ability to present research findings clearly and concisely in both written and oral formats. Strong communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and the broader scientific community Good publication track record in peer-reviewed journals.
