Built environment students will undertake work placements in the sector of their choice in both their third and fourth year as part of a graduation project. The new campus has an area called Innovation Square, where students, researchers and professionals can create, develop and research their ideas. There are meeting facilities, brainstorming sessions and flexible workspaces for students to make their ideas a reality. Several large companies use the Innovation Square, including Logistic Workx, NEXT and Sassybot, allowing students to meet and network with industry professionals.
