Job Description SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION Lecturer I / II (Division of Nursing Education) (25260661) The School of Continuing Education, one of the seven Faculties/Schools of the University and a major provider of continuing and professional education in Hong Kong, offers a wide range of full-time and part-time programmes at the post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels for young learners and working adults. It also offers in-house training and short courses to meet the community needs and market demands. Operated on a self-financed basis, the School and its College of International Education currently employ about 400 full-time staff and 550 part-time instructors. The School is inviting applications for the following position: The School invites applications for Lecturer I/II posts. The appointee will contribute to the undergraduate and master’s nursing programmes in teaching as well as academic and departmental administrative duties. Applicants should possess a master’s degree (preferably a doctoral degree) in the relevant discipline and a valid Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong with a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration local clinical experience. Preferences will be given to those with higher academic qualifications and relevant teaching experience in tertiary education sector. The expectation and job duty requirements will be in line with the appointed grade. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated and compassionate multi-disciplinary team at The University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service (USAIS). USAIS is renowned for providing a regional service for severely and profoundly deaf children, young people and adults across the south of England and the Channel Islands. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to life-changing care for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss, supporting them through assessment, implantation, and rehabilitation and beyond. The work includes specialist psychological assessment, formulation and therapy and there are opportunities for individual work, group work, and work with the wider system. Consultation and advice on patient’s psychological care to the wider multi-disciplinary team, as well as liaison with external agencies is an important aspect of the work. You will be a valued and key member of the multi-disciplinary team and have opportunities to shape the Clinical Psychology Service at USAIS. There are opportunities to teach on courses run at the University and with partner charities and organisations, as well as be involved in audit and service development within USAIS. You will also have a key role in the USAIS safeguarding team which provides consultation and support to the wider team. Attendances at conferences and training courses is encouraged and supported for continuing professional development. Description The Healy Laboratory in the Chemistry Program of the Division of Sciences at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a Post-doctoral Associate or Associate Research Scientist starting November 2026. Applicants with backgrounds in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry are encouraged to apply. The research is aimed at developing an automated chemical platform for the synthesis and biological evaluation of natural products as leads for a drug discovery program. The lab and the core research facilities at NYUAD are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for organic synthesis (https://healylab.com/). Applicants for the Post-Doctoral Associate appointment must have received a Ph.D. in chemistry or related subject or be within a few months from completion, and with no more than five years post receipt of their PhD. Applicants for the Associate Research Scientist role must have received a Ph.D. in chemistry or related subject, and have at least 3 years of research experience, not including the years of post-doctoral study. We encourage applications from candidates with significant research experience in the synthesis of complex molecules, particularly polyketides. Knowledge of synthetic automation/chemical engineering, biosynthesis or chemical biology is desired, but not required. Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, and scientific creativity are essential.
