With expanding opportunities for Entrepreneurship and Innovation minors at the postgraduate levels, this is a pivotal moment to shape the future of our offerings. We are seeking an experienced academic who is passionate about Entrepreneurship and Innovation and who can provide strong program management and academic leadership to contribute to RMIT's teaching and learning excellence. In this role, the Senior Lecturer (Entrepreneurship) within the Department of International Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IBIE) is expected to play a key role in strengthening our current curriculum while also driving the development of new courses in high-growth and high-impact areas. This position requires a strong commitment to impactful research, industry collaboration, and professional services. The Senior Lecturer may have program management responsibility within the School. The role also encompasses the supervision and mentoring of higher degree by research (HDR) candidates and early career researchers, supporting capability development and research excellence To be successful in this position, you will have: Demonstrated ability to coordinate large courses and prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including high-quality curriculum and program materials, and ability to implement innovative approaches to student-centred learning and quality improvement. Demonstrated ability to support student issues related to effective learning. Emerging nationally recognised research track record, including a substantial record of research outputs in high-quality outlets. Extensive experience in research leadership with the ability to build and develop collaborative research teams, mentor academic staff to deliver high-quality outcomes, attract and secure external research funding to sustain research effort and manage funded research projects, including complex budgets and reporting requirements. Ability to manage a large program or a number of small programs. Extensive experience in supervising higher degree by research candidates to maximise research performance. Demonstrated ability to manage academic program team, supporting scholarly development of less experienced academic staff. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to financial, governance and quality management systems within a university. The School is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking fashion lecturer to teach at the intersection of design, business strategy and creative direction in fashion. The ideal candidate will bring substantial industry experience within the fashion system, alongside a strong pedagogical approach that integrates critical thinking, creative practice and commercial awareness. This role requires an educator who understands fashion not only as a creative discipline, but as a cultural and economic system, and who can guide students in navigating the full life cycle of fashion, from concept and design to product development, branding and market positioning. The successful candidate should demonstrate expertise and the ability to teach across a combination of the following areas: Design and creative practice: Visual identity, branding and art direction. At least five years of tertiary-level teaching experience with knowledge of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Framework and at least three years of full-time relevant professional practice. For Senior Lecturer, at least nine years and above or the equivalent of postgraduate teaching experience in practice-based arts at tertiary level and six years of proven track record of professional experience in related design fields and/or tertiary design education with a PhD qualification. Substantive professional practice in the areas of visual identity, branding, and art direction, creative direction as strategic practice, translating concept to market: brand, product, and experience, fashion marketing, communication and/or related fields of design. Paediatric Asthma and Allergy Clinical Research Fellow

The University of Southampton Faculty of Medicine is offering an appointment to be based within the Faculty of Medicine at Southampton General Hospital. This post holder will work within the paediatric respiratory and allergy research team. They will primarily being undertaking a trial focused on the prevention of childhood asthma. Additionally, they will provide some support to studies focused on preventing food allergy and managing acute severe childhood asthma. The post will provide practical training for a middle grade doctor in the conduct of clinical trials, focussing on supporting clinical trials through all stages including implementation and supporting sites in recruitment, regulatory approvals, data collection and integrity, data presentation and working with translational samples. The post is intended to provide valuable training in research governance and regulation for future clinical and translational researchers. There may be an option to undertake a higher degree. The appointee will provide day to day medical support for study teams under supervision from Professor Graham Roberts (Professor of Paediatric Allergy and Respiratory Medicine). They will be involved in trial implementation and involvement in study protocol amendments and implementation including ethics committee documentation and R&D submissions. Training in clinical trials methodology including Good Clinical Practice will be provided. The post will be at registrar level and will require a medical qualification. It would be suitable for a trainee with relevant experience in paediatric medicine as out of program experience or for someone wishing to pursue a career in this specialty prior to obtaining a training number. The post will be a University appointment and does not have any direct clinical work. Duration of post to be discussed with the potential candidate but is 12 months in the first instance.
