Aditya University evolved from Aditya Engineering College and was established as a state private university in 2016. On its campus in Andhra Pradesh, a coastal state in south-east India, Aditya hosts more than 5,000 students from across India and some 20 countries. 

Across its four schools (engineering, business, sciences and pharmacy), it counts more than 500 faculty members. Its undergraduate programmes include: civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, mining engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, information technology, forensic science, cybersecurity and digital forensics, digital marketing, business analytics, and pharmacy. 

The university offers master’s programmes in engineering, business administration, computer applications, cybersecurity, digital marketing, business analytics, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical analysis, and forensic science. There are PhD programmes in engineering, management, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English.

Some scholarships are available for Indian and non-resident Indians.

Aditya places a strong emphasis on placement training and foreign language learning to enhance career opportunities. Students have secured internships at Google, Walmart, Flipkart, Airbus and other global giants. Aditya has industry collaborations with Siemens, Dassault Systems and more.

With international partner universities, it offers joint degree programmes and semesters abroad. POSITION OVERVIEW Department: Advanced Semiconductor Research Centre Position: Research Fellow Location: Suzhou, China Contract Type: Fixed-term, one term for 2 years ABOUT XJTLU In 2006 Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) was created by the University of Liverpool and Xi’an Jiaotong University – a top ten university in China. Offering a unique international education experience, XJTLU brings together excellent research practice and expertise from both institutions and gives students the skills and knowledge they need to secure careers in a global marketplace. XJTLU now has over 25,000 enrolled students in both Suzhou and Liverpool in the UK,including more than 5,000 master’s and doctoral candidates. XJTLU maintains a full-time faculty of 1,400 professional teachers, with approximately 40% being international academic staff. ABOUT XJTLU Advanced Semiconductor Research Center  The XJTLU Advanced Semiconductor Research Center is jointly established by Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) and the National Third-Generation Semiconductor Technology Innovation Centre (Suzhou). It focuses on advancing third-generation semiconductor power electronics and serves as a university-level research platform that spans campuses and schools. The research center is dedicated to wide-bandgap semiconductor power electronics and integrated technologies, aiming to look ahead, develop distinctive capabilities, and serve both industry and society. Driven by industry needs, the research center collaborates with the China Advanced Semiconductor Industry Innovation Alliance (Beijing, CASA) to promote talent cultivation through the integration of advanced semiconductor production and education. Leveraging the strengths of XJTLU’s Sino-foreign cooperative education model, the center fosters collaboration among industries, universities, and research institutions at both domestic and international levels. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct research: Design and execute experiments, collect and analyze data, and interpret results to advance the understanding of related research areas. Collaborate with team members: Work closely with faculty members, research staff, and other postdoctoral researchers to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing. Publication and dissemination: Prepare research manuscripts for publication in high-impact scientific journals and present findings at conferences and seminars. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES A PhD in electrical engineering, electronic science and technology or a closely aligned area, with PG Cert HE or equivalent; Preferred research directions include Power Management IC, Power Devices, GaN HEMT, Radiation-Hardened IC, and Reliability Testing. Research experience at a university or equivalent after completion of PhD degree; Strong publications record in electron device such as EDL and above; Experience in presenting at top conferences such as ISPSD in the electrical and electronic engineering field. Experience in industry collaboration projects. Hands-on experience in cleanroom environments, including chip fabrication, testing, and familiarity with semiconductor equipment. Experience in securing research grants. Fluency in English. Professional memberships such as BCS, IET, ACM, IEEE, and HEA. Applicants should be established experts with an internationally recognized record of scholarship in Marine Conservation. They should possess a Ph.D. in Marine Science, Conservation Biology, Environmental Policy, or a closely related field, and demonstrate a strong research focus in one or more of the following areas: marine protected areas, marine spatial planning, policy and management, fisheries, and/or ecosystem-based conservation. A proven track record of securing competitive research funding and publishing high-impact research of regional and global relevance is essential. Particular expertise and research experience in Southeast Asia, with a focus on China, are required. The appointee will be a key member of the Swire Institute of Marine Science (SWIMS) at the University, providing academic leadership by developing a world-class research programme, mentoring junior staff and students, and contributing to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He/She will also serve as a key academic representative of the Hong Kong and China Marine Protection Alliances – cross-sector coalitions focused on marine conservation and sustainable use of marine resources at both local and national levels. Both initiatives are funded by the Swire Trust to coordinate and amplify marine protection efforts. Exceptional candidates may also be nominated for the endowed professorship – Swire Professorship in Marine Conservation. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with the University’s contribution to a retirement benefits scheme up to 15% of basic salary. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. Other benefits include annual leave, professional leave and medical benefits. Doctoral Researcher in Forest Planning

Department of Forest Sciences of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry invites applications for a Doctoral researcher in forest planning starting from February 2026, or as agreed. The doctoral researcher will be offered a full-time contract for an initial 1 year, with the possibility for extension to the end of August 2029, corresponding with the possible extension of the ForTran (fortran.fi/en) Strategic Research Council funding. The selected appointee will be informed of the possible continuation as soon as a decision is made by the RCF. There will be a trial period of 6 months at the beginning of the employment. Position description: The successful candidate will work in the project “ForTran - Forests in systemic transition – balancing efficiency with fairness and resilience.” funded by the Research -Council of Finland. The work will be conducted in a transdisciplinary group of researchers, including anthropologists, ecologists, business and management scientists, systems scientists and forest scientists. This position will prioritize the developing a clear method to identify and quantify the ecological and societal boundaries of forest use. This research will enhance tools used in forest planning, use of forest simulators through a simulation and optimization framework. The research can focus on how to improve the use of decision support tools by private forest owners; focus on the trade-offs and synergies between sustainability of timber harvesting and other ecosystem services; focus on how to integrate uncertainty to quantify and assess the robustness of the sustainability of forests. Skills, expertise and or qualifications: A master’s degree in forest sciences, environmental sciences, applied mathematics or closely related field. About You The Research assistant will undertake research activities in line with the University's research strategy. It is expected that the Research Assistant will work with an increasing degree of autonomy as skills and experience develop. The Research Assistant will contribute to a specialised research program in quantum information theory and quantum optics, with a focus on quantum channel discrimination for high-resolution spectroscopy and AC field sensing. The project aims to develop theoretical frameworks for distinguishing closely related quantum processes that arise in light-matter interactions, and to use these frameworks to extract fine spectral or temporal information from weak or structured optical fields. The successful candidate will work on designing and analysing protocols that exploit quantum-optical channels-such as those encountered in coherent and incoherent spectroscopy To be successful in this position, you'll have / you'll have as a minimum: Evidence of research output including publications, conference contributions and/or technical reports in the field. Theoretical background in quantum control and quantum optics, including the ability to model and analyse light-matter interactions, dynamical evolution. Theoretical background in quantum channel discrimination and quantum metrology, with proficiency in applying information-theoretic tools to develop and evaluate precision measurement and sensing protocols. Ability to work autonomously whilst displaying a strong commitment to work in a team environment, including the demonstrated ability to confidently and effectively work with colleagues, project team leaders, and industry partners.
