Abrar University is based in the Somali capital city of Mogadishu. It was established in 2014.
Its colleges of medicine, health science, veterinary medicine, agricultural science, economics and management science are located in the Hodan district. New courses introduced in recent years include food engineering and technology, information technology, nursing and midwifery and medical laboratory science.
The university offers career mentoring for students who offer one-to-one career support for students throughout their programme. Mentors will be either alumni, academic staff or other professionals relating to different career paths. There are also study and career counsellors who are available for students to discuss their studies or future plans.
The university also offers mental health counselling for all students.
The university has formed partnerships with the Federal University of Parana, Brazil, the University of Kent’s School of Bioscience, four Turkish universities, others in Egypt and Sudan, Egerton University in Kenya, and Jigjiga University, Ethiopia.

About us The King’s Health Partners Clinical Trials Office is a collaboration between King’s College London, Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. It was set up to provide a single interface for those wishing to conduct clinical trials within the partner organisations, and to ensure that there are common, efficient processes for the set up and administration of clinical trials. About the role The post-holder will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and quality assurance of non-commercial clinical trials sponsored or co-sponsored by King’s Health Partners (KHP) Partner Organisations: Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The post-holder will ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, ICH GCP E6 guidelines, and applicable institutional policies. Working as part of the KHP-CTO Non-Commercial Team, the post-holder will ensure that the sponsor responsibilities (delegated to the KHP-CTO) for clinical oversight, safety reporting, and data integrity; are discharged to the highest standards of quality and compliance. The post-holder will lead and develop a team of Clinical Research Associates and Clinical Trial Administrators, ensuring a consistent, risk-based approach to trial monitoring, quality control and issue management. About the Job The Department of Special Education at Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member for non-tenure-track Lecturer positions in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). All faculty positions are full-time assignments, effective for the start of the 2026 Fall semester (August 16). These positions are full-time assignments appointed on a 3-year contract at the first instance and are renewable upon successful reappointment review. A Lecturer is a full-time faculty member responsible for teaching 30 credits per academic year (10-month type) and for providing students with academic and learning support. Lecturers typically teach up to three different courses, with average class sizes of 20–25 students. Successful candidates will play a central role in the delivery and advancement of the Master’s programs in Special Education, with a strong focus on Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Faculty members are expected to teach postgraduate-level courses and supervise graduate student practicum experiences. The position entails delivering high-quality instruction, offering academic advising and mentorship, and contributing to service at the university, college, and departmental levels—such as curriculum development, program assessment, student recruitment and advisement, and professional collaboration with local and international partners—as well as to the broader professional community. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, and weekend, depending on institutional needs. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable.
