Ref.: 534136 Work type: Full-time Department: School of Computing and Data Science (14700) Categories: Professoriate Staff Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-track Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor (several posts) at the School of Computing and Data Science (Ref. 534136), to commence on September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment rank will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. For Assistant Professors, the appointment will initially be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of the second three-year fixed-term contract, subject to satisfactory performance. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms, subject to the University’s approval. The School of Computing and Data Science (CDS) strives to advance education and research across the fields of computing and data science, artificial intelligence, statistical decision sciences, fintech, and actuarial science. A solid track record in research. Outstanding and internationally recognised research achievements are essential for appointment at Professor level. What We Offer A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave, professional leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
