Position Highlights: Curriculum Design and Teaching: Collaborate with the academic team to develop and deliver engaging course content for our Master's and Executive programs in climate governance and risk management. External Liaison: Engage with industry partners to enhance career development opportunities for students. Build connections that facilitate internships, workshops, and networking events. Event Organization: Plan and execute events that promote ICCN's mission. Support the development of seminars, conferences, and public outreach initiatives. Strategic Development Support: Contribute to the strategic planning of ICCN by providing insights into trends in climate research and carbon management practices. Requirements: We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals committed to addressing climate change and advancing sustainability. The ideal candidate should possess: A strong academic background and relevant experience in environmental science, policy, or related fields;  A Bachelor’s degree or preferably a Master’s degree in Environmental Management, Public Health, Climate Risk Management, ESG or related discipline; At least 3-5 years’ solid experience in conducting professional training or education; Ability to bridge theory and practice by engaging with industry practitioners and academic peers; Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English. Applicants with less experience or qualifications may be considered for appointment as Assistant Lecturer. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, computational biology, related disciplines or equivalent. They should be self-driven, highly motivated, creative with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Expertise and knowledge in AI deep learning model development on histology whole slide imaging analysis in computational pathology is essential. Applicants should have a solid publication record and demonstrated experience in computer vision or analysis of pathology images. The appointees will participate in a multidisciplinary collaborative research project related to development of deep learning model for diagnosis and prognosis of different sarcomas. He/she will develop and train deep learning models with state-of-the-art algorithms based on histology whole slide images. They may also contribute to research of integration of multimodality data with clinical, radiological images and genomics data. Publications in related fields will be a strong advantage. Opportunities for publication and independent development will be available. Additional basic laboratory skills in handling clinical samples (e.g. FFPE tissue, blood), preparation of samples for scRNA-seq and DNA/RNA extractions will be desirable. The School of Governance and Policy (SGP) Established in 2025, SGP aspires to be the leading global hub for governance and policy scholarship and education, rooted in Hong Kong’s unique role as a bridge between China and the world, empowering leaders across Asia and beyond with strategic insight, analytical rigor, and cross-sector collaboration. By fostering multidisciplinary knowledge, we aim to strengthen governance systems, enrich multilateral understanding, and drive transformative policy impact. Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be expected to teach courses offered in postgraduate programmes related to international organizations, and/or global governance. He/She will also contribute actively to research and knowledge exchange, programme development at postgraduate level, and assume service and administrative responsibilities as appropriate. Requirements Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in public policy, law, history, or a closely related field on social sciences and humanities. They should have teaching and research experience in any relevant specialism of international and regional organizations, public-private partnerships, and multilateralism to address economic and social policy challenges, especially in the Global South. They should also have a proven track record, or strong potential for research excellence, scholarly publications and securing competitive external funding. What We Offer A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salary tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
