Our incredible research environment spreads right across campus and beyond, and is built on over 100 research groups, institutes and centres, world-class facilities, and an approach that means research is embedded in all that we do.

Our inclusive approach has created a vibrant culture where students are taught by academics that are at the forefront of their disciplines and involved in current research activities, which enable them to gain the skills and knowledge arising from top-quality research practice.

World-class facilities

Our reputation for research excellence is supported by our provision of world-class facilities, which allow those involved in research at Loughborough to progress, excel and succeed. The capacity and capability of our staff’s research is supported and developed at all stages of their career.
